On the rooftop of a towering building, the last scene of the movie Final Hour was being shot.
Out of the blue, tragedy struck.
The cables supporting the stunt double of Ethan Cross, a wildly acclaimed Hollywood actor, snapped just as he was suspended over a deadly drop.
Consequently, the poor guy plunged towards an inevitable end with breakneck speed.
"Holy Fuck!"
A few onlookers let out panicked yells,
while others simply stood frozen with their hands clasped over their mouths, their eyes wide in shock and terror at the accident they had just witnessed.
"This is how I die? It's messed up, man!"
Yuriel was the 20 something years old stunt double of Ethan Cross. He let out a roar of unwillingness as he raced toward the ground from a height of over 300 feet, with nothing to cushion his fall.
Suddenly, a thought crossed his mind.
"Was I schemed against by someone? These days, I did feel like someone was following me around."
Two weeks ago, he had begun to feel an unsettling sense of being followed.
He reported it to the police, but they dismissed it as him being paranoid, saying he had no evidence to prove he was being targeted and that they couldn't act on gut feelings alone.
He'd never actually caught sight of his stalker so he wondered if he might indeed be paranoid after being harshly reprimanded by the police officers.
But now, a deadly malfunction had occurred on set, sending him plummeting toward his death. He couldn't shake the feeling that he'd been plotted against by his mysterious stalker.
However, his mind let go of this suspicion as quickly as it surfaced. Instinctively, he didn't want to spend his final moments burdened by such thoughts. Instead, as his life rapidly approached its end, he subconsciously focused on other things.
"The movies didn't lie to me. Your life really does flash before your eyes when you're about to die."
Watching death approach like a bolt out of the blue, but helpless to do anything to change the outcome of the tragedy that had befallen him, Yuriel witnessed a flashback of his life.
He was an orphan who had clawed his way out of poverty against all odds by honing his craft to perfection through repeated training.
He rose from nothing but debts to his name to become a well-known stuntman in the film industry through sheer effort alone.
Ethan Cross had been so impressed with his work in other films that he personally hired Yuriel as his exclusive stunt double before the production of the film "Final Hour" began,
even letting him name his own pay.
Only desiring a salary that would allow him to pursue his dream of marrying and starting a family with his beloved, Yuriel hadn't taken ill advantage of Ethan's generosity.
Ethan had fulfilled Yuriel's request without a word of argument, resulting in a significant increase in his annual income.
That very day, after finalizing the deal with Ethan, he had driven home and proposed to his girlfriend.
She had accepted his proposal while shedding tears of joy.
They were set to marry just two weeks after the production of Final Hour was completed.
But now… that future was no longer possible.
Yuriel felt aggrieved beyond words.
Why wouldn't he?
The one thing he'd worked his whole life to achieve—he was going to die before he could even experience it!
Splat!
His body struck the ground with thunderous force,
and his little life came to an abrupt end.
"Huh??? What the hell?"
Right after the tragic accident that took his life, Yuriel found himself in a strange situation.
He was trapped in a space so dark and cramped he couldn't see anything or move around freely.
To make matters worse, his body didn't feel like his own.
Controlling it felt like an insanely difficult challenge.
He had so little control over it that he couldn't even let out a single comprehensible word. When he cried for help, all that came out were random babblings.
"It's like I have become a newborn baby."
Despite coming to a terrifying conclusion, he tried to keep himself as calm as possible. He had an inkling that panicking would only make the situation worse. He didn't move around randomly, staying stationary.
"Where is this place? Why did I appear here after dying? How can I get out of here?"
Questions popped up in Yuriel's mind one after another.
But there was no one around to answer them—or so he thought, until…
Out of nowhere, brilliant rays of light pierced the darkness.
These rays, golden in color, condensed into three comprehensible words that glowed with an otherwordly radiance.
These words appeared right before his eyes.
< Suitable Host Found >
A gleam of joy lit up his eyes as he saw the arrival of a golden finger in that message.
"Is it really a system? Let's hope I'm not wrong."
Light flickered, and the words changed.
< Commencing Integration Process >
The text broke down into rays of golden light that vanished into his body,
A moment later, a notification popped up in his vision.
It was semi-transparent!
He could see through it without much difficulty.
Yuriel preferred this over the bright texts that had filled his vision a few moments ago.
After all, if this type of notification appeared in the middle of a fight, it wouldn't obstruct his vision!
< Integration Process Commenced >
< Host integration with the system has reached: 10%... 30%... 50%... >
< 70%... 90%... 100% >
< Integration Process Completed >
< You have gained the Endless Levelling System >
The system became a part of him, but he didn't feel a thing. It happened as naturally as breathing.
Yuriel was a bit amazed.
He had read a handful of novels to broaden his horizons when he could afford to be lax, which was before he was orphaned.
Thus, he wasn't unfamiliar with the concept of systems.
He knew that a system was a cheat given to transmigrators after they died in their original world in an accident and mysteriously woke up in another.
It was designed to help them adapt to their strange new reality and grow stronger quickly.
He thought, 'Since I have acquired a system, it must mean I have transmigrated too.'
However, this discovery did nothing to dispel his confusion about his surroundings or the body he'd come to mysteriously possess.
He thought, "Maybe the system can help me understand my situation better. But can it pick up my thoughts? I hope it can. That's the only way I can communicate right now."
Without any further delay, he called out to the system in his heart.
"System, can you answer some of my questions? I am quite confused about my situation and would appreciate any help."
He hoped his thoughts would reach the system. To his surprise, they did.
< Affirmative > the system replied.
"Great."
Yuriel beamed. The system could understand him. It also seemed willing to help him.
He immediately asked it a few questions.
"Can you tell me what world I've transmigrated into?"
< Yes >
< You are in the Blue Star Domain >
Blue Star Domain? What kind of world is it?
Yuriel felt curious.
But, he decided to leave that question for another time.
Right now, he had more pressing matters to address.
"What's my current location and form?"
< Your current location is the womb of a human woman in her twenties >
< Your current form is that of a baby who's ready to be born >
Going through the notifications, Yuriel's mind went blank.
"Others transmigrate into grown-ass men… but I transmigrated into an unborn baby."
"How can it be so weird?"
"Maybe it's because other transmigrators get Isekaied by truck-kun, while I plunged to my death in what I suspect to be a man-made accident."
Yuriel stopped with the silly thoughts, focusing on what truly mattered.
"Considering I'm ready to be born, my mother could go into labor at any moment. I should prepare myself for that."
Clearing his mind of distractions, Yuriel readied himself for the birthing process, which could begin at any moment.
*****
Inside a modest room, a young woman in the prime of her life could be seen lying on a bed that was just the right size for her. The bed was covered in plain white sheets.
Although the young woman was surrounded by simplicity, her looks were anything but ordinary.
With curves in all the right places, she had a masterpiece of a voluptuous figure, and her face was so exquisite it seemed as though it had been sculpted by a god over centuries.
Her beauty was so divine that it could lure even the most disciplined heart into temptation.
Moreover, what she wore did nothing to diminish her allure. Instead, her attire amplified it a hundredfold.
She was dressed in the traditional attire that women of the Silver Rock Village in the Blue Star Domain typically wore when they were about to give birth.
It was a scandalous garment that clung tightly to her massive jugs and skimmed just below her wide, motherly hips. While it left a majority of her smooth snow white skin exposed and barely conceleaed her privates, it accentuated her curves, amplifying the aura of temptation surrounding her to a level where it was impossible to ignore.
This beautiful woman's full and majestic name was Elestaris Eterni Lena and she was nine months pregnant.
Today she had made up her mind to bring into the world the child she had nurtured in her womb for the past nine months.
This was the main reason she wore the traditional attire reserved for women during childbirth in the Silver Rock Village.
Suddenly, she felt movements in her belly, and her eyebrows raised.
"Mother-in-law, the baby's getting real restless in my belly."
She spoke without putting in much effort.
As a result, her voice was incredibly soft and gentle, and the words that left her mouth were barely audible, yet each one was easily picked up by the slim and graceful woman dressed in black standing in the courtyard outside the room.
This woman was Agatha, and she was as beautiful as Lena, though they looked nothing alike. Lena had black hair, while each strand of Agatha's hair was silver, and she was far curvier than Lena and her body was athletic.
She stood before a large iron cauldron set over a crackling fire, seemingly refining an elixir.
Hearing Lena's words, Agatha laughed warmly.
"Haha, my grandson is just eager to come into this world. The concotion I am preparing will help him with that."
Agatha was Lena's mother-in-law and somewhat of a skilled alchemist.
In the courtyard, she was preparing a concoction that would help Lena quickly deliver the baby without experiencing even a hint of discomfort.
"He does seem eager to be born."
As Lena spoke, her eyes showed tender love for the baby she was about to give birth to.
Lying on the bed, she looked out of the room through the slightly ajar door. Her gaze landed on Agatha's face.
Sensing it, Agatha lifted her head and looked back at her with a wide smile.
She was genuinely happy. After all, Lena was bringing her very first grandson into the world.
"Mother-in-law, when will you be finished concocting Graceful Birth?"
Graceful Birth was the name of the elixir Agatha was refining.
True to its name, it allowed pregnant women who had nurtured their babies for at least six months in their wombs to give birth without experiencing pain, letting out blood-curdling screams, or spilling blood during labor.
"It's almost done."
Moments later, Agatha snapped her fingers, and the fire beneath the cauldron vanished.
She lifted the lid off the cauldron and carefully scooped a glassful of the Graceful Birth elixir using a ladle that she pulled out of thin air.
If Yuriel had seen this, he would have exclaimed, "This world has magic!"
Taking long strides, Agatha carried the glass of Graceful Birth into the modest room where Lena lay on a bed.
She offered the glass to Lena and patted her head lovingly.
"Drink this. Then neither you nor your unborn child will feel any pain while you give birth."
As if she trusted Agatha with her life, Lena nodded without any hesitation.
She took the glass from Agatha's hands and brought it to her lips.
It was at this moment that an unbearable stench assaulted her senses.
"Ugh, it smells bad."
Lena complained, her nose crinkling at the pungent scent of the Graceful Birth Elixir.
"It's either this or an unsightly and painful birth."
After Agatha reminded her gently, Lena tightened her hold around the glass with her slender, graceful fingers, mustering up the courage to go ahead with it.
She didn't like pain.
But more importantly, she didn't want her unborn child to face any discomfort during childbirth.
Thus, although the graceful birth elixir smelled like toxic waste, she pinched her nose and downed the pungent contents inside the glass in her hands in one go.
As the Graceful Birth Elixir went down her esophagus, a calming warmth spread throughout her body, sweeping away her nausea and putting her mind at ease.
The elixir had magical effects on her body.
Under its influence, she felt no pain or discomfort as the entrance to her mesmerizing flower cave and the path leading to her womb began to expand rapidly.
But that wasn't all it did.
It also produced a gentle force in the pit of her stomach.
This force headed towards her womb.
Its only aim was to guide Yuriel out of his mother's womb and into the world as painlessly as possible.
"It's happening," Lena said, glancing at Agatha with a hint of nervousness.
"Just relax, spread your legs, and follow what your body urges you to do," Agatha instructed gently.
Lena quickly followed her instructions and spread her legs wide.
Due to her movement, the hem of her scandalous garment shifted upwards, revealing the tantalizing sight that lay between her thick thighs, and it didn't escape the eyes of the only other woman in the room.
"So beautiful."
Agatha gasped in her heart.
The buds of her daughter-in-law were red in color, looking soft and tender like red roses, so captivating and tempting it could rival the glow of rubies under a harvest moon in its allure.
Lena's velvety petals looked ten times better than Agatha's pale pink honeyed core. However, Agatha didn't feel jealous of her. Instead, her heart filled up with admiration.
"No wonder my son chose her over all the beauties of the Blue Star Domain. This pussy is one of a kind."
She snapped out of her thoughts as Lena voiced her concern, "I'm afraid I can't maintain this position for long. Can I depend on you to keep my legs steady until he's out, mother-in-law?"
"Of course, dear," Agatha bobbed her head up and down once as she moved her hands to grip the ankles of the long, smooth, and milky white legs Lena had spread wide in order to keep them steady.
*****
Inside Lena's womb.
Yuriel's tiny heart filled with joy as he received the news he had been waiting for who knows how long.
< Your mother has gone into labor >
His system notified him.
"Finally."
He had no idea how long he had waited for his mother to go into labor, as he was too lazy to count the passage of every second and had no way to keep track of time in his mother's womb, but now that it was happening, he felt elated.
Just then, another notification popped up in his vision.
Like adding fuel to the fire, it amplified his emotions, making his tiny body shiver with excitement.
< Ding! A quest has been issued. Make your way into the world. Reward: Minor Physical Enhancement >
As he had no idea what the rewards entailed, Yuriel didn't fully understand the benefits that completing this quest would bring, but he was eager to finish it since he wanted to be born and experience the wonder of this foreign world called the Blue Star Domain.
"It's time to get out and start my new life!"
What he experienced next went against his common sense.
A mysterious but gentle force acted on him.
It was so strong he couldn't resist its pull.
Before he could explode in panic, it quickly carried him out of his mother's womb, helped him cross her birth canal while keeping it from convulsing and contracting, pushed him out of the exit to her cave, and set him down on a bed covered in plain white sheets, dissipating straight after.
