Kaliyah held back the tears threatening to fall, what's wrong with him one minute he's nice and the next he's a monster.
Levi walks in at that moment, a big smile plastered on his face. "What's up guys? Don't tell me the party is over?" he says, his voice booming through the tense atmosphere.
But he quickly clamps his mouth shut when he notices the tension in the air. Cian's face is thunderous, his eyes blazing with anger. Kaliyah's face is pale, her eyes wide with shock and fear.
Cian just throws Levi a sharp look, his eyes flashing with warning. Without a word, he gets into the car and drives off, leaving Levi and Kaliyah staring after him.
Levi walks close to Kaliyah, his face concerned. "Hey, what happened?" he asks, his voice soft and gentle.
But Kaliyah doesn't answer. She just storms out from his front and starts running, her feet pounding the pavement. Levi says "shit" and goes to his car and drives to look for her, but he can't find her. She is hiding in the bushes, her body shaking with sobs.
Kaliyah just cries her heart out. First, her mother dies, and her father maltreats her. Then, he sells her like a piece of property. And now, she finds out that they are not even her real parents. On top of that, she gets dragged into a mess she knows nothing about. Why does the universe hate her so much?
She cries until she can't cry anymore, her body exhausted from the emotional turmoil. She lies down on the grass, her eyes closed, and her chest heaving with each ragged breath.
Meanwhile, Levi is searching for Kaliyah everywhere, his face worried. He calls Cian, his voice firm. "Hey man, what did you do to Kaliyah? She ran and I couldn't find her."
Cian's voice is calm and collected. "I'll take care of it," he says.
Levi's voice is firm. "If anything happens to her, I'll never forgive you. She's been through a lot."
Cian's voice is cold and detached. "I said I'll take care of it," he repeats, before hanging up the phone.
Levi's face is worried, his eyes scanning the darkness for any sign of Kaliyah. Then he sighs and decides to give up and go home and hope for the best.
As Cian speeds away from the mansion, he can't shake off the feeling that Levi's words have left him with. He's never heard Levi speak to him like that before, and it's made him wonder if Levi has developed feelings for Kaliyah.
Cian's eyes narrow as he focuses on the road ahead.
He steps on the gas, the speedometer climbing higher and higher.
Meanwhile, Kaliyah is walking barefooted through the dark streets, her heels abandoned on the sidewalk. She's not paying attention to where she's going, her mind consumed by the events of the evening.
As she walks, she notices a guy in black following her. At first, she thinks it's just her imagination, but as she quickens her pace, she realizes that he's actually following her.
Kaliyah's heart starts racing as she tries to run. She can hear the guy behind her, his footsteps pounding the pavement. She musters up all her strength and runs faster, but she's no match for him.
The guy catches up to her in no time, his arms wrapping around her waist. Kaliyah tries to struggle, but he's too strong. He pulls her into a dark alleyway, and Kaliyah's heart sinks.
She's trapped, and she knows it. The alleyway is narrow and deserted, the only sound the distant hum of traffic. Kaliyah's eyes scan the alleyway, desperately searching for an escape route.
But there's none. The guy's arms are wrapped tightly around her, holding her in place. Kaliyah's heart is racing, her mind consumed by fear.
She tries to struggle again, but the guy's grip is too strong. He's not going to let her go, and Kaliyah knows it. She's trapped, and she's at his mercy.
Hey, what's a pretty girl like you doing here at this time? the guy in black says, his voice low and menacing, as he grips her tighter. She whimpers and starts pleading, "Please don't hurt me." Her voice is shaking, and her eyes are wide with fear.
The guy in black chuckles and says, "Oh, I don't hurt pretty girls, I promise. You'll enjoy it," he says, his eyes gleaming with lust, as he grabs one of her breasts and fondles it. She tries to scream, but she can't; his hands are covering her mouth, and she's trapped. She just cries and continues begging, "Please don't do this, please." Her body is shaking, and her legs are trembling.
The guy laughs and says, "Come on, don't act all innocent. You've done this a lot of times. I just want to taste," he says, his voice dripping with malice, as he licks his lips and dips his hand into her clothes. The only sound that can be heard is her muffled cries. She's trying to struggle, but he's too strong.
All of a sudden, a black Audi screeches to a halt, and Cian jumps out, his face twisted with rage. When he sees the scene before him, his eyes darken with fury. He can see the fear in Kaliyah's eyes, and it fuels his anger.
The guy just says, "Hey, man, this girl must be so sweet. You can have your turn when I'm done." As if that sentence unlocked the madness he's been trying to contain, Cian grabs the guy by his neck and slams him against the wall. He starts punching him repeatedly until he's unrecognizable. Then, he steps on his crotch, and the wailing of the guy echoes throughout the alleyway.
Cian's fists are clenched, and his eyes are blazing with anger. He's not sure what came over him, but he knows he's not going to let anyone hurt Kaliyah. He looks over at her, and she's staring at him, her eyes wide with shock.
When he's satisfied that the guy is no longer a threat, Cian turns to Kaliyah. She's hiccuping, and it looks like she's going to pass out any minute soon. He scoops her up in his arms and puts her in the passenger seat of the car. Then, he drives off into the night, leaving the guy in black lying broken and battered in the alleyway.
As they drive, Kaliyah starts to cry again. Cian looks over at her, his eyes softening. He reaches out and gently brushes away her tears. "It's okay," he says, his voice low and soothing. "You're safe now."
