Every other human has a possessiveness of himself or herself as being the best in society! Despite being familiar with their skills and capabilities to an extent, they still are blindfolded in the race to be the great ones.
Let's say a person regularly loses a race for a couple of weeks. Even after being aware of his drawbacks and repeating failures, he just simply neglects them as if they found no use to boost his morale. And sarcasm that arises here is that whenever he is among his mates, he appears to be loud enough saying, 'I am the best!!'
This scenario may seem as if I was making efforts to crack a joke without good stomach-aching laughter. But to make ourselves more masculine and obtain dignity in the society in which we reside, we attempt such hilarious and stupid acts...
The idea of becoming better is appreciable, struggling to be the best is also somewhere given approval but achieving the benefits of being the best for personal reasons is somewhat considered as a nuke weapon truly responsible for massive destruction of ourselves.
Actually our efforts are somewhere found to be vain when the drawbacks have an emphasizing effect on them.
