"So, this is the famous Satisfy," Michael mumbled as he looked around. He was now in the renowned world of Satisfy, specifically in Earl Ashur's territory—the beginner village where new players undergo their training and first trials.
This world held special significance for Michael because, unlike other worlds, Satisfy was tied to his level system in the Marvel world. This meant that any levels he gained here would also translate to his real-world abilities—provided he remained synced with this avatar.
However, since this was just a game world, he couldn't obtain souls or similar resources here. But he could acquire classes. Currently, his class in the real world was Necromancer. In Satisfy, he had the potential to gain a second class, allowing him to either complement his Necromancer abilities or replace it with something entirely new he discovered here.
"Not to mention my random gacha, which always gives me a new surprise," Michael mumbled, recalling the strange boon he'd received: the Weed Life Template. This template meant he had inherited the potential talents and future gains of Weed from Legendary Moonlight Sculptor. So, whatever he did—even if it was just sitting around—he would eventually gain the Legendary Moonlight Sculptor class, even if it didn't exist in Satisfy before.
This world's protagonist, Grid, excelled through sheer patience, determination, and an uncanny streak of luck. On the other hand, the template of Weed, which Michael now possessed, came with immense talent and a relentless work ethic. While Weed might lack Grid's luck, his raw talent and diligence far surpassed Grid in that regard.
'Not to mention since I know the story, so It won't matter even if Grid is Lucky' he mumbled as he looked around the Bustling town of the the Patrian.
Patrian is a strategic point at the border of the Gauss Kingdom, while also establishing the boundary that separated the western and northern parts of the former Eternal Kingdom. Patrian connects the north and the west of Eternal. In the south of Patrian is the Saharan Empire and Gauss Kingdom respectively. Reidan, Patrian, and Borneo are able to form a triangular defense zone.
Michael looked around as he began making his way toward the training camp grounds. This was where new recruits underwent trials, and after passing them, they were awarded the adventurer's certificate. Only then could they leave the fortress and venture out into the vast world beyond.
Meanwhile, James had also arrived in Patrian, searching for his nephew, Michael, who now went by the in-game name Blade.
###From this point onward, Michael will be referred to as Blade.####
As Blade moved through the bustling streets of the fortress, he took in the sights of the vibrant town filled with NPCs and players alike. Vendors shouted about their wares, blacksmiths hammered away at molten metal, and the occasional clatter of footsteps echoed from adventurers rushing to their destinations.
Lost in thought about the training camp, Blade accidentally bumped into an elderly woman carrying a small basket of herbs. The impact caused the basket to tumble, spilling its contents onto the cobblestone street.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" Blade quickly said, kneeling to gather the scattered herbs. The old woman, frail yet composed, gave a kind smile despite the incident.
"It's quite all right, young man," she said softly. "My eyes aren't what they used to be. I should have been more careful."
Blade shook his head. "No, it was my fault for not paying attention." After picking up the last of the herbs, he handed the basket back to her. "Let me help you get back to your house," he offered.
The old woman hesitated briefly before nodding. "You're too kind, but I won't refuse. My home isn't far from here."
Supporting her as they walked, Blade navigated the narrow streets while she chatted about the town and its people. It wasn't long before they reached her modest home, tucked away in a quieter corner of the fortress.
"Thank you, dear," she said with a warm smile, as she opened the door. "It's rare to see such kindness these days. Here, take this as a token of my gratitude." She handed him a small pouch containing a few silver coins and a mysterious herb with a faint golden glow.
Blade accepted the gift with a grateful nod. "Thank you. I'll make good use of this."
"And if you need anything, you can just ask for my help. My name is Blade," he said as he left the granny with a polite bow.
The herb he received was uncommon Honeydew Grass, known to increase one's intelligence by two points when consumed.
"You are very kind, though I do need some help," the granny said. Suddenly, a quest notification appeared in front of Blade.
[Old Granny's Request]
Difficulty Level: ???
The quest description is not available. Accept the quest to receive more details.
Quest Clear Conditions: Accept the granny's request for assistance.
Quest Clear Reward: ???
"Of course, I'll help," Blade said confidently, assuming it was a simple quest. He ignored the question marks, thinking they were there because the granny hadn't revealed all the details yet.
The old granny smiled warmly. "You see, while I was gathering herbs, I found this old sculpting knife. Could you go to the Sculptor's Guild and find out more about it for me?" She held out an aged and worn sculpting knife. Its blade was chipped, and its handle had clearly seen better days, yet there was an aura about it that intrigued Blade.
As Blade heard the word sculpting, a spark of recognition ignited in his mind. His Legendary Moonlight Sculptor class was tied to sculpting skills, and this could be a clue toward unlocking it.
"Consider it done," Blade said, accepting the knife with a determined smile. The thought of uncovering more about his legendary class excited him.
After all, in the Manhwa, Weed's Legendary Moonlight Sculptor class was known for its many broken skills—abilities that could turn the tide of any battle or create wonders beyond imagination. Blade had always admired that class, both for its versatility and the sheer ingenuity required to master it. The thought of experiencing it himself, even in a virtual world, was exhilarating.
His heart raced with excitement. "If this really leads to the Moonlight Sculptor class, it's going to be incredible," he thought, gripping the old sculpting knife tightly.
