So, new discovery for Philip the next morning was that a person can sleep with a raging bone. Or maybe Aiden wasn't normal and a psychopath?.
Philip was used to waking up early and good for him since it gave him some time to appreciate the guy sleeping next to him like a log. Okay, a bearable one at least. How can a person snore that loud?
Philip wanted to laugh at himself on his luck. Stanley wasn't a snorer but, a very brutal sleeper. He was those people who sleeps fighting or maybe, he just wanted to beat Philip's up in his sleep. He wouldn't know for sure.
But all in all, he loved waking up to him. He loved how safe it feels around him. He didn't believe it yesterday when they had a_ was it a fight? Can he call that a fight? He did feel uncomfortable and the need to let it get dropped.
Aiden was young and apparently sensible. He can deal with provocations much more than Philip ever could. How was his childhood and life experience to make this young a man see life as he sees it? He was curious! Philip needed to know more! Does that mean it was love? Was that how it feels?.
He couldn't dwell on that much longer since he heard his phone buzzing. Took it from the bed and walked to the kitchen with it. So, it was Jake.
"The fuck Jake?"
"Emergency girl!"
"What?"
"So, I told you that I'm breaking up with the guy, right?"
"Yeah so, you were drunk and you can't dump him"
"Oh, but I did"
"Then what's the problem?"
"Guess, who's homeless now?"
"Shut up!" Said Philip trying and failing to minimize the laughter and busted it out.
"Har har... So, I'd be busy looking for a new place the whole day. Coming with?"
"Are you asking or a suggestion in pretense of an information?"
"I'm pretty sure it's the latter"
"I'd be coming after Aiden leave for work" Said Philip, biting his lower at the pride that was building up at the mention of Aiden. What came over him?
"Yes, Mrs kept man"
"Jake, I didn't ask for this... I was blessed with it"
"Good Lord! Why are you so happy in that relationship and I'm busy destroying mine?"
"Because I ended mine when you were busy feeling miserable in yours"
"Fair enough. When should I expect you here?"
"Where's that? you street beggar!"
"Too much offense taken and for your information... I slept in a five star hotel last night and that's where I'm going to take my breakfast" Said Jake before Philip heard Tristan's voice, "You woke up early"
"So you were_" Philip started off but, was interrupted by Jake's urgent response, "See you when you'd be here bye"
"Jake? Jake?" Called out Philip before he was cut off. Rude.
"You look happy" Observed Aiden before kissing his forehead soundly.
"Did I wake you?" Asked Philip before getting all apologetic making Aiden feel like he was the reason for that.
"Cut it out" Dismissed Aiden going to raid the fridge, "I see the fridge is still full. Not a fan of sweets I presume"
"I'm no doctor but, I know that eating ice cream first thing in the morning is not okay" Said Philip shudder at the sight of him and that thing.
"You can wait while I'm making us breakfast" Suggested Philip getting to it.
"Kisses to the chef" Said Aiden as he kissed Philip passionately making him lose all the bearings. Even forgetting why he was holding a pan. "What was that for?"
"For existing?" Asked Aiden instead of answering, "Is that weird to kiss you first thing in the morning?"
"I didn't say that" Replied Philip trying and failing to keep a straight face.
"But, you thought that" Teased Aiden
"Guilty as charged" Said Philip bashfully hiding his face making Aiden chuckle at how cute he can get.
"Did we have an open relationship?" Asked Aiden as an afterthought when referring to what he heard from Philip talking to the phone. He couldn't help but, hear.
"Uh..., wasn't it clear enough with you and Mia?" Replied Philip hesitantly. Does he think he cheated on him? Is that a problem?
"For me. I was dating Mia" Explained Aiden hoping that Philip would catch the drift.
"And I was dating my manager, Stanley" Replied Philip with the confident he didn't feel.
"That's a, Uhm... What's that called in gaycology?" Asked Aiden so serious that Philip couldn't help but, laugh, "That's not a study"
"It should be" Insisted Aiden.
"Well, if there would be a name to our previous situation then it should be polyamorous" Replied Philip after some silence.
"I'm catching the vibe that you don't want to date anyone outside us anymore" Observed Aiden making Philip's stomach to drop. How to move from that? Truth or lies?
"Then you passed the vibe check" Said Philip before he looked up to the smiling Aiden, "You want an open relationship?"
"I don't think I'd ever need it when I have you with two many personalities to keep me on my toes" Replied Aiden going for another kiss which was avoided by Philip swiftly.
"That's offensive but, I kind of like it from you" Said Philip with a tap to Aiden's nose.
"I know, I'm adorable like that" Said Aiden in Philip's tone, "So, I'm gonna iron some clothes need any outfit in particular?"
"Surprise me" Replied Philip not really thinking about going out at the moment.
"...You'll definitely be surprised" Replied Aiden after some thoughtful moments before walking out of Philip's face.
Philip's stomach was in knots the whole time but, he handled that conversation pretty well. Was the sex even worth his uncomfortability? Well, Duh! Or he wouldn't have started that whole scheming process.
But, when will the scheming and the lying end so, he could just let himself feel more to Aiden than just an experience with Mr. Perfect?
