Blue eyes
I headed to my favorite ski pub in Queenstown after showering and changing out of my ski gear. My father had always brought us here for as long as I can remember.The place was filled with European women dressed to the nines in their designer snow outfits sipping on expensive bubbly, throwing their heads back with laughter at whatever funny gossips was being spilled at the table. The insides is always toasty, the beer flows freely and the food is warming especially the late-night chips.
I had just ordered my second glass when a certain raven haired caught my attention. She wore a jacket not suitable for the freezing temperature and shorts, she didn't have makeup on so her cheeks were red and damn she looked really adorable. My eyes scanned her body, her curves as she stalked towards me. She smiled at me with a twinkle in her blue eyes as she sat beside me. Why she wasn't fully covered was something I didn't understand especially since it's so cold but understanding women was like trying to bring down Mount Everest in a day. "Nice to meet you again errr….." her voice penetrated through my thoughts. "Oh it's Clay,..Clay Larson", I said. "Okay, I am Mia Bluerose". "Mia? That's a beautiful name", I said. "Thank you", she said while ordering her drink. She smelt like roses and honeydew and I keep wondering if she tasted same. "So uh..where is your ex-boyfriend?" I asked. She looked at me smiling, "Why are you asking? Wanna hit him on the face again?" "Well if you would want me to do that I wouldn't mind" I said smirking. She smiled while sipping her drink, "so um where do you stay?" I asked. "I stay at Washington D.C, you?" I smiled before saying, " Not bad, I stay at New York, just about four hours away, could make it ninety minutes in my private jet". "Make it where?" She said laughing. "Make it to seeing your beautiful face everyday", "You are a prideful one aren't you?" She said shaking her head. "Hey, what's a man without his pride", I said smiling, "Plus I would go to that lengths for only you Love", I said winking at her. "Oh my, how many girls have you said that to?" She said laughing. I love when she laughs , she looks so adorable and all I want to do was to hide her smile for my eyes alone.
