Weekend Double Chapters!
------***------
After speaking, Fang Chang's massive body gradually disappeared before the eyes of the four humans. In just a few moments, it was as if he had vanished into thin air, leaving no trace behind.
This… Teacher Yu and the others were even more shocked. Although they had heard of some soul beasts being exceptionally skilled at camouflage, they had never seen one that could disappear so seamlessly, especially one of such enormous size.
"Let's go," Fang Chang's voice snapped them back to reality. They walked awkwardly toward the edge of the forest, constantly glancing over their shoulders.
But by now, Fang Chang had already returned to his original size and activated his "Stealth" skill, walking ahead of them. With their level of strength, there was no way they could detect him.
The distance between the Sunset Forest and Heaven Dou City wasn't far. Under the cover of night, the group soon arrived at the outskirts of the city.
But then Fang Chang's voice echoed in their minds again, instructing them to enter a dilapidated temple by the roadside. The group exchanged confused glances, unable to figure out what the spider monster was planning.
However, under the threat to their lives, they had no choice but to comply and entered the temple.
"Teacher…" the woman in white began to speak, but Teacher Yu quickly raised a finger to his lips, signaling everyone to stay silent.
He was a member of the Blue Electric Tyrant Dragon Clan, though his talent was considered average within the clan, and his strength wasn't particularly remarkable. His status had always been low.
In his youth, he had admired Liu Erlong and followed her to establish the Blue Tyrant Academy, becoming a teacher there.
Now, this spider monster seemed anything but friendly. He wasn't sure if Vice-Principal Flender and the others could handle it.
The more he thought about it, the more anxious he became. He wanted to send a message for help but feared it might anger the spider monster and lead to their deaths.
He stood there, unable to sit still, his emotions in turmoil. Finally, he noticed his students and forced himself to appear calm and composed.
The group stayed in the temple for an entire day. It wasn't until nightfall the next day that the spider monster ordered them to continue their journey into Heaven Dou City.
When they were almost at the gates of the former Blue Tyrant Academy—now Shrek Academy—Fang Chang led them to a secluded spot and spat out a "Poison Web" at them.
After doing this, he activated his "Stealth" skill again and used "Stretchy" to shrink his body to about half its size. Then, he carefully leaped over the academy's outer wall and entered the grounds.
Following the directions provided by the group earlier, he headed toward the dormitories of the Shrek Seven Devils.
The academy covered a large area, comparable in size to a small town from Fang Chang's previous life.
Moreover, it was nighttime, and the academy was eerily quiet, with no one in sight.
The Shrek Seven Devils' dormitory was located in the northernmost part of the academy, right next to Liu Erlong's residence. This arrangement clearly showed the special treatment they received.
At the moment, the area was brightly lit, and Fang Chang could vaguely see a few familiar figures.
Grandmaster had just left Tang San's room and hadn't gone far when Liu Erlong called him over and led him into her room.
Liu Erlong carefully checked that no one was outside before closing the door and turning off the lights.
Meanwhile, behind the wall on the right side of the building, Flender poked his head out. He looked at Liu Erlong's room with a strange expression, somewhere between crying and laughing, before burying his face in Zhao Wuji's chest.
Zhao Wuji looked at him with disgust, pushing him away and scolding him, though Fang Chang couldn't make out what he was saying.
Xiao Wu, seeing that Grandmaster had left, tiptoed into Tang San's room. She pulled a comb from her chest and handed it to Tang San, then obediently sat down on the only chair in the room, her back to him.
Tang San took the comb and gently tidied Xiao Wu's slightly messy hair, his eyes filled with affection.
Next door, Oscar stood outside the door, holding a package and muttering incessantly.
After a long while, the door finally opened, and Ning Rongrong stepped out, snatching the package from Oscar's hands.
Just as Oscar tried to enter, she pushed him out and closed the door again. Oscar walked back to his room, dejected.
On the second floor of the building, Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing leaned on the railing, gazing at the moon. As they did, Dai Mubai's hand quietly slipped around Zhu Zhuqing's slender waist.
Zhu Zhuqing shot him a cold glare, twisting her body like an eel to escape his grasp.
But Dai Mubai wasn't about to let her go. With a gentle push, he pulled her back into his arms.
Zhu Zhuqing let out a soft moan, struggling briefly before Dai Mubai scooped her up, carried her into the room, and tossed her onto the bed.
Then, their door closed, and the lights went out.
Next door, Ma Hongjun, the little fatty, heard the commotion and rolled out of bed, staring thoughtfully at the wall.
The light cast his shadow onto the window paper, making it look as if his body was trembling against the wall.
As the noises from next door grew louder, Ma Hongjun could no longer contain himself. He rushed out of his room and ran toward the academy gates.
Fang Chang observed the scene, his shield-like front legs slowly rising.
What he feared most was the martial soul fusion skill of Grandmaster and the others. But they were still far away, and Flender had dragged Zhao Wuji to the garden to drown their sorrows in alcohol.
His first targets were Tang San and Xiao Wu. In terms of hatred, his grudge against these two was the deepest. In terms of potential, while the others were part of the main group, Tang San was the true protagonist!
Just as he was about to make his move, he suddenly felt something watching him from a distance.
He turned his head and saw a scruffy middle-aged man sitting on the roof of a building across the way. The man held a small hammer in his hand, his gaze fixed menacingly on Fang Chang.
This… why is he here too!
Fang Chang was shocked. He immediately abandoned his plan and fled toward the academy gates.
His "Stealth" skill was essentially an illusion. While it worked well against opponents of similar strength, it was easily seen through by powerhouses at the Title Douluo level.
"Hmm?" The scruffy man on the roof frowned. "He's leaving?"
He hadn't actually seen through Fang Chang's "Stealth." Due to his greatly reduced strength, his current soul power wasn't enough to do so.
But he could still sense that something had been targeting his son. At first, he had wondered if it was someone from the Spirit Hall or another enemy skilled in assassination.
But giving up so easily didn't seem like their style.
In the distance, Fang Chang, seeing that the man hadn't pursued him, breathed a sigh of relief. With him here, there was no chance for Fang Chang to act.
But he wasn't ready to give up yet. After circling the academy, he sneaked back in, this time heading toward the dormitories of the ordinary students in the south.
