The air grew heavier as the group ventured deeper into the Abyssal cavern. Shadows clung to the jagged walls like living entities, writhing and pulsing in rhythm with an unseen heartbeat. The eerie glow of the abyssal crystals embedded in the stone offered scant illumination, their faint light casting ominous shapes across the walls.
"We need to stay sharp," Velyra said, her voice steady but low. She led the group, her crimson blade flickering faintly with residual energy. "The Abyss isn't going to let us leave easily, not after taking down its Champion."
"Anyone else feel like the walls are... moving?" Kellan asked, his hammer resting heavily on his shoulder as he eyed the shifting shadows with suspicion.
"They are," Mira replied, her tone laced with unease. "It's a defense mechanism. The Abyss adapts to intruders, and we've just made it very angry."
