Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Signs of Darkness

The state of Azure Hollow remained calm during the day, but there was something different that night. Fen Tian felt an unusual tension in the air, something he had never noticed before. The village, which had always been peaceful and distant from the bustle of the outside world, now seemed quieter than usual. Every step he took toward the forest beyond the village felt heavier, as if something was waiting behind the thick trees.

Fen Tian walked cautiously along the narrow path that cut through the forest, his eyes sharp as he scanned the surroundings. Since childhood, his grandfather had taught him to always be wary of potential threats. But tonight, an unfamiliar feeling crept over him—a feeling that the world was about to change.

Azure Hollow had always been sheltered from the wars and chaos that ravaged Primodia. It was a peaceful place, where time seemed to stand still. But the outside world could not escape the coming changes, and Fen Tian knew that.

Within the forest, he sensed something unusual. The sound of the wind whispering through the branches of the trees was louder than usual, almost like a warning. Fen Tian stopped in his tracks. Something—or someone—was watching him.

From behind the trees, a shadow emerged. Fen Tian took a deep breath, preparing himself for whatever was coming. The shadow drew closer, and with slow, deliberate steps, the figure finally emerged into the moonlight that illuminated the path. It was a man in a black robe, his face hidden beneath a hood.

"Fen Tian," the man's voice was heavy but contained an unexpected power, "The Fen Clan has long been forgotten, but your time is coming."

Fen Tian studied the man carefully. "Who are you?" he asked coldly, sensing something strange in the man's words.

"My name is not important," the man replied with a faint smile on his face. "However, I have come to deliver a warning. A distant enemy is coming, and the Primordial Bone you seek is not just the key to your future, but the key to the world's destruction."

Fen Tian fell silent. Everything he knew about the world, about his clan's history, about the Primordial Bone, now began to reveal a darker side.

"Take care, Fen Tian," the man whispered before vanishing back into the shadows of the forest, leaving Fen Tian with more questions than answers.

Fen Tian returned to the village, his mind and heart in turmoil. That night, he knew something far greater and more dangerous was approaching, and he had to prepare himself to face the darkness that was beginning to emerge.
