Wu Luxi had been actively posting messages in the chat.
["Good morning, everyone! Are you all awake yet?. Just now, while I was sleeping, two barbarians came over to give me something to eat. It was an apple. I just took a bite, and it's delicious. So, have you all figured out how to get here yet?"]
At this point, she wasn't just talking to herself in the group anymore.
More people were joining the chat to interact with her.
Clearly, the allure of Wu Luxi's paradise-like location was hard to resist.
["Miss, the survival guide wasn't wrong. If they're still feeding you, it means they want to keep you alive for a while longer."
"Exactly. Don't worry too much! We've already started preparing to come rescue you."
"Just stay in that little cabin for now, Miss. We'll definitely save you today."
"Of course, the early bird gets the worm!"]
Su Chen found these chats amusing. Initially, he hadn't planned to pay much attention, but now that he knew the resources at Wu Luxi's location were abundant, he was more than willing to join in.
At that moment, Xi Bowen also joined the conversation.
["Don't worry, Miss. We've got over sixty people joining this rescue operation. Today, we're going to attack those barbarians' base!. We're gathering at the foot of the mountain right now, and we've brought weapons."]
The group was well-prepared. Almost everyone had a small dagger in hand, and confidence was running high.
"This is the day we'll wipe out this gang of thieves!"
Xi Bowen, a hot-blooded young man, now had his own pet and plenty of supplies. More importantly, he was ranked among the top players worldwide—currently within the top 150 and steadily rising. His morale was sky-high, and he was close to breaking into the top 100.
This rescue operation was an opportunity for him.
If he performed well, he could secure a spot in the global top 100 and reap significant rewards from this event.
Wu Luxi replied emotionally,
["Oh my, thank you all so much!. Please be careful on the way!"]
Even though she was trapped in a dark and oppressive little cabin, hearing their words made her heart feel warm.

Meanwhile, Su Chen returned home on his white horse, dressed in knightly armor.
Er Bao stood at the door, his eyes wide open and tail wagging enthusiastically, as if welcoming Su Chen back.
When he saw Su Chen dressed in full armor and seated on a white steed, his eyes widened even further.
"Ahhh, Master is so handsome!
"I'll always be your loyal fanboy!"
Er Bao stood shyly at the door—it seemed he had been waiting for Su Chen to return the whole time.
"What a little fanatic!"
Su Chen found Er Bao's starstruck expression genuinely amusing.
He removed his knightly armor.
"Ah, I feel so much lighter now!"
After dismounting, Su Chen led his white horse to meet Er Bao, who shyly retreated into the RV.
"Oh, come on! Why are you acting like a bashful girl?"
The white horse, on the other hand, maintained a cool demeanor, standing tall and still.
Feeling a bit embarrassed, Su Chen quickly explained to the horse, "Don't mind him. Er Bao's always been this shy. It's just how he is."
Hearing this, the horse snorted, turned its head, and walked away, leaving Su Chen feeling a bit awkward.
"This is so tricky to handle!"
Su Chen scratched his head, unsure what to do.
"Well, I guess it'll get better in a few days."
He thought it was normal for the first few days and didn't dwell on it.
---
Habitually, Su Chen checked the RV World daily notification.
Weather: Today's weather is warm and sunny, perfect for hunting. There are even small animals outside—can you hear them?
Temperature: 5°C. Temperatures will soon drop to freezing, so it's still a bit chilly. Dress warmly!
Time until nightfall: 5 hours and 20 minutes…
The day had been productive—he had acquired a full set of knightly armor in just half an hour.
The resources outside the RV had almost all been claimed. Once Wu Luxi's situation was resolved, it would be time to head elsewhere.
Trees, crates, and soil had all been put to good use. However, water resources remained scarce.
Water was a universal need, and securing it meant traveling farther.
Wu Luxi's location intrigued Su Chen, and he wanted to explore it.
After greeting Er Bao and the white horse, he decided to act alone.
Operating solo was safer—less chance of being detected.
Since he still wasn't sure of the enemy's strength, a covert investigation was the only viable option.
Su Chen was familiar with this mountain and quickly pinpointed where Wu Luxi was being held.
It was a small straw hut, surrounded by burnt wood piles.
From the mountaintop, the hut was highly conspicuous—there was only one like it.
---
Moving quietly, Su Chen crept closer.
When he raised his head, he saw two dark-skinned barbarians wearing straw clothing.
The two shirtless men were holding large bones, using them to beat on a dead wolf.
Their faces were smeared with something white, possibly flour.
Getting closer, Su Chen counted: one, two, three…
There were six barbarians in total, along with one wearing special clothing.
It seemed likely that one was a shaman or mage.
"This is terrifying!"
Two female barbarians were kneeling before a statue of some deity.
The statue had a horrifying visage: three eyes, six arms, and an unsettling expression that defied human imagination.
Nearby, two young barbarians were happily munching on wolf meat, looking thoroughly content.
Seeing this, Su Chen's heart shuddered.
Though there were fewer barbarians than he had expected, the statue alone was enough to give him nightmares.
"What should I do? Charging in now is definitely not an option."
"This looks trickier than I thought."
The shaman began chanting a spell as the barbarians knelt before the statue.
"Great Deity, we offer You this living woman. May she please You.
Bless us, Great Deity! Bless us, Great Deity! Bless us, Great Deity!"
The barbarians kowtowed three times.
The shaman followed with an incantation, his voice deep and ominous.
Hiding behind a tree, Su Chen trembled, terrified of being discovered.
"Are they planning to sacrifice Wu Luxi?"
"There's no way I can handle this alone!"
"I'll wait for the main group to arrive before making a move…"
---
Su Chen hurried back to the RV and opened the regional chat channel.
Xi Bowen was still enthusiastically sending messages.
["Miss, can you give us your exact location?
"Our team now has fifty-five people. We'll definitely save you!
"We're about to head up the mountain and should find the barbarians' base soon. Let's go, team!"]
