"Thanks to the healing pills provided by Lord Tang of Baodan Pavilion, I'm much better now," Jiang Kui replied, casting a grateful glance at Tang Sheng.
Tang Sheng smiled. "No need to thank me, Uncle Jiang. Jiang Chen is our chief alchemist. Baodan Pavilion won't turn its back on his affairs."
Jiang Chen's expression darkened. "What happened to the Jiang family? Who did this to you?"
"It was Jiang Qianhe," Jiang Kui said bitterly. "This all stems from his fear of you."
Since Jiang Chen had defied expectations, rising from a so-called Body Tempering Realm failure to a rising powerhouse, Jiang Qianhe had grown increasingly jealous and wary. After witnessing Jiang Chen's potential firsthand in Lingyun City, his fear deepened.

"Don't worry, Uncle Kui. I know exactly what to do." A cold light flashed in Jiang Chen's eyes.
He had initially planned to leave Jiang Qianhe alone, believing they could coexist peacefully. But now, seeing how Jiang Qianhe was ruthlessly seizing power and harming his own family, Jiang Chen's patience had run out.
If Jiang Qianhe was so eager to bring about his own destruction, Jiang Chen would be more than happy to oblige.

Tang Sheng nodded, understanding the seriousness of the situation. "I'll have everything ready immediately, Brother Jiang Chen."
Jiang Chen's eyes gleamed with determination. He would spend the day refining pills and quickly upgradehis cultivation. When the inevitable news came that Jiang Qianhe had declared himself the head of the Jiang family, he would return home and end this farce.
