Lyra pouted her mouth in confusion, she knew she hadn't been alone two minutes ago. The speed at which he disappeared into the calmness of the woods got her thinking. She really would have ignored him if he didn't have something about him that struck her soul. She knew more than anything that there was something intriguing about the enigmatic being she had just come across.
The thought of this stranger tug into her soul, the more she tried to wave him off, she had been unable to read his mind, his memories, his emotions. His face had held none, but he definitely had something going up in his head. Was she distracted or was he different? He definitely was different if she was that attracted but she had to know why she couldn't read him.
Calming her mind and soul, she connected to the woods, each leave swinging in the air called out her name, the sunlight bracing her person, the calm breeze gently fading away. Nature respected her and made way, the air got cold and leaves green, a river flowing gently and her eyes opened. He had stopped at the stream.
Lyra smiled in satisfaction and pride, she really was a priestess. She was going g to ask him why he ran away from her, and probably try to read him again. This time she was sure she would get him. She hadn't been learning all these years for her powers to let her down with some dashing random stranger.
At the stream Kael took a deep, he was tired from all that running, the coldness of the water seeped into his skin, his breath deepening and his hair waving with the flow of the water. His mind was full and even him couldn't carefully select his thoughts. He was however sure of what happened earlier, he had run away at the sight of a beautiful woman.
There was definitely a weird aura around her and he thought she had to be from Ashwood, the people with weird gifts, his mind got filled again and he went deeper into the water, letting his mind and the waters compete.
From a safe distance, Lyra watched this masculine demon take a bath. She knew he was good looking but right now, he was outrightly stunning. His abdomen was well ripped into eight strongly arranged regions, his arms spoke power and with every breath he drew, Lyra seemed to loose hers.
Closing her eyes and calming her soul, Lyra placed her hand on the closest tree and took a deep breath, she connected to the woods and it's inhabitants, from the birds above to the creeping insects, she could feel the life in the woods. She connected to the waters and yet not the person, she tried severally but there was nothing. Who is he??
