Back to the special force, the squad was planning suicide, letting David and Arthur escape to help the retreating squad—if things go south. Meanwhile, the retreating squad was slowly advancing around the Big BABY, hoping that they wouldn't wake it up.
As soon as they were long past the baby,
*AHHHHHHHH!!!*
A loud scream can be heard coming directly from the base as Arthur and David come running from an explosion, with many other monsters chasing them.
"Looks like the crew didn't go too far," says Arthur before crashing into the arms of a large sleeping creature, which was about the size of Mount Everest. "The Big BABY" David exclaimed. His voice got dimmer as he began to whisper while walking backward. "I have heard so many tales about this monster since that day," said David softly. Even the monsters chasing them were too scared to get near the Big BABY, causing them to run away.
Arthur stood there in complete disbelief.
*BAM BOM BAM*
His heart creates a strange rhyme of their own.
Bringing him back to his younger days, times when things were "normal," a period of change, the day of the Great Crash. For Arthur, life has never been on the favorable side; he was born with a defect that affected his way of thinking, making him socially disregarded as cursed. Tenderly, he appeared calm and reserved, but it wasn't normal for a kid of that age. He never got along with any of his age mates, causing him to be lonely.
Even at home, he was left with his sick mom, who caused him to fend for himself and his mom.
During the Great Crash, Arthur's home was destroyed, not because of the force of the crash but because of the rise of something "Big," something that could level mountains easily. This monster would later be known to be territorial but appeared lazy because it slept every time. Now at this very moment, he was face to face with the same monster—bring him back into a scaring memory.
*The earth shakes*
*Screams here and there*
Arthur runs into this house, trying to get his mom off her sick bed.
Suddenly,
*CRACK*
The floor cracked open, as a creature slowly stepped out of the pit, destroying everything in sight.
Once spotted the monster faces Arthur, charging straight at him, as he tried using all his strength to lift his mom, but couldn't get a good grip.
Five years after the crash, a young Arthur was roaming until he found a cave that seemed lonely but with loud cries of deadly roars. Feeling a chill run down his spine as he slowly walked in, he hoped for a place to sleep for the night. As he cautiously navigated through the shadows, he noticed the cause of that noise was a sleeping giant, the same creature that killed his mom that unfaithful day, Arthur's heart raced with fear, knowing that any sudden movement could awaken the sleeping giant. His breath quickened, and his legs felt like jelly.
Suddenly,
*CRACK*
*Shuffle, Shuffle*
Arthur accidentally kicked a loose rock and stepped on a branch, breaking it and making a loud noise that echoed through the cave. The giant stirred in its sleep, then woke up with a deafening roar, scaring Arthur as he screamed as loud as he could for help.
