Xiang agreed and said, "Okay, but why do you want to adopt me?"
Li Yunzi smiled warmly and replied, "Because I don't have a daughter. My wife is very lonely, and she has always wished for one. That's why I like you so much. You are so adorable, and your kindness shines through. That's why I want to adopt you."
Hearing this, Xiang smiled. It was the first time someone had praised her. She said hesitantly, "But I'm very dirty... people always run away from me."
Li Yunzi shook his head gently and said, "Not to us. Come with me."
He took Xiang to his home. His house was enormous, with tall gates and a beautiful garden. When they entered, he called out to his wife, "Look! I've brought you a gift!"
His wife, Li Huan, came out and saw Xiang. Her face lit up with joy. They welcomed Xiang warmly and officially adopted her, giving her the name Li Xiang.
Li Huan was overjoyed. She showered her new daughter with love and care, treating her as though she had been part of their family forever. At first, Xiang felt awkward in the grand palace. It was a world so different from the streets she had known. But slowly, she began to adjust.
However, not everyone was kind. Some people in the palace would make fun of her past. Seeing this, Li Huan decided Xiang needed guidance. She thought to herself, She should have a master who can teach her and help her grow. And so, Li Huan began searching for a teacher for Xiang.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, Wen Shia stood in the middle of a beautiful garden, lost in thought. Suddenly, a man approached him and said, "The Heavenly God has summoned you."
Without hesitation, Wen Shia turned and went to meet the Heavenly God. He bowed and asked, "Why have you called me, Heavenly God?"
The Heavenly God looked at him and said, "I have an important mission for you. You must go to Earth to find the Element Stone. It is a powerful, multi-colored stone that holds immense energy. No one else must know of its existence. This task is yours alone."
Wen Shia frowned slightly and asked, "Where is this stone on Earth?"
The Heavenly God replied, "That is what you must discover. The previous Heavenly God hid it well to ensure it would not fall into the wrong hands. You must find it and keep it safe. Do not return until your mission is complete."
Wen Shia nodded. "I understand. I will leave at once."
The next day, Wen Shia descended to Earth and arrived at the Nanjing Mountains. His first task was to find a place to stay. While searching, he encountered Li Yunzi, who asked, "What brings you here? Are you looking for something?"
Wen Shia asked cautiously, "How do you know me?"
Li Yunzi smiled and replied, "Who wouldn't recognize you? You're the god who once helped people when no one else would. Tell me, how can I assist you?"
Wen Shia said, "I need a place to live."
Li Yunzi gestured toward a house nearby. "There's a house right next to mine. You can stay there."
Grateful, Wen Shia moved in.
One day, while Wen Shia practiced his skills atop a hill, Xiang spotted him from afar. He was dressed in pristine white robes that fluttered in the wind, and he held a beautiful fan in his hand. His movements were graceful and precise, as though he were painting the air with his skills. The fan flew from his hand, marking the air before returning to him effortlessly.
Xiang couldn't take her eyes off him. To her, he seemed like a celestial being. She mustered her courage and ran up to him.
"Will you make me your student?" she asked eagerly. "I want to learn cultivation and swordsmanship!" Her eyes sparkled as they lingered on the elegant sword at his side.
Wen Shia looked at her and immediately refused. "No, I'm not going to teach anyone."
"Please!" Xiang pleaded. She dropped to her knees, clasping her hands together. "Please take me as your student!"
But Wen Shia remained firm. "No," he said, his voice final.
