It was a sunny day in Colo Village, Qual Kingdom. People were sowing rice crops, they were singing and cheering. Farmers in Qual wear distinct triangular hats which are made of bamboo, they wear it to protect themselves from the harsh sun. The flora and fauna in Qual were completely different from the rest of the world, the trees were tall, green, and lush, and the animals were diverse, exotic, and often majestic, with some being dangerous and unique, like the Red Serpitra, which was a serpent-like creature but had thick red scales which can resist fire.
A man working in the rice field, he was Goram Somar, felt an itch on his left shoulder, he tried scratching it but it didn't work, the part was covered under his garments so nothing was visible, "Are you okay?" the man next to him asked, Goram replied it was nothing. As he finished work he rushed to his house, a small hut. He closed the door and took off his clothes, there was gold everywhere growing out of his skin, it was spiky and were small pieces, it covered his body from shoulder to his waist. He tried to pluck them from his skin but it just caused more damage, blood flowed from the infected area and the gold spikes were undistributed. The pain was unbearable, he never experienced such a thing before. He took a small piece of cloth banded the the affected area, and slept in pain.
The following day, Goram's friend went to his house to take him to work, he knocked on the door, but there was no reply, and locked in. He bumped the door and entered the room forcefully, there was Goram's body on the floor, completely covered in gold spikes from neck to knee, his friend tried to wake him but he was unsuccessful. That man quickly ran to the leader of the village, it was an old lady who lived for more than 100 years, and she came to see Goram. Upon closer inspection she said that Goram was dead, and "Evil is rising again." she said in fear. Quickly the news charted the whole kingdom, it even reached Queen Eva Gino.
In the national capital region of Qual, Queen Eva, the youngest queen in the history of the kingdom, became the queen when her parents died while traveling to Seashells Kingdom for an occasion. She ascended to the throne at the age of 15, however, she now stands at the regal age of 28. Though she ruled at a young age, she was considered the best out of all the others who ruled. Queen Eva learned everything in the absence of her parents, from archery to combat. She was also people's gift.
Queen Eva was practicing her sword fight in the practice room with her teacher. The practice room was a large room with many columns, with each column having sculptures that tell the history of the kingdom. Her minister Mao Chang entered the room, "You have important news, your grace," The minister said,
"What is it, Mr.Chang?"
"A news from Colo village. A man strangely died yesterday, gold grew on his body and killed him," the Minister replied,
"What? Gold?" Eva was curious as it was the first time she heard of such type of death,
"Yes, Your Majesty. Gold, people are calling it the Gold Death,"
"Gold Death? What about the person's body? Where is it?" Eva asked,
"The body is in Muam for research,"
"Okay, any other news Mr.Chang," Eva asked,
"Yes your grace, from the Maro Village. A pirate group attacked the village and looted the houses." Minister said,
"What is the army doing? I told you to maintain high defense in that region," Eva shouted,
"Your grace, we called the troops as the leader from the Lagoon Kingdom visited the kingdom yesterday," the Minister said,
"And whose idea was it?"
"The General's your grace," Minister replied,
"The General? I will speak with him." Eva said,
"Any other news?" Eva asked,
"No, your grace but received a letter from the Stone Castle,"
"Okay leave it on the table," Eva said,
"As you command your grace," The Minister said and left the room.

Lilly and Julian were in the Genari Forest searching for something to eat. They could see some pears on the trees but were unable to reach them, Julian threw small stones to get the fruits, but it didn't work, then he tried with a large beam, but also had the same result. A Cotton-top tamarin came towards them and climbed the fruit tree, it collected the fruits of the pear and one fell, Julian took that, and the cotton-top tamarin jumped down and snatched it from Julian's hand and ran, Julian ran back of it "Wait, Julian," Lilly shouted but Julian didn't listen. He stopped when that monkey disappeared into the bushes. Lilly reached Julian, "That silly monkey just disappeared," Julian shouted,
"What is that smell?" Lilly asked Julian,
"What smell?" Julian,
"I don't know, come," Lilly said, Julian followed her,
After a small walk, they found a tiny house middle of nowhere, a campfire, and meat was roasting on the flames. They went closer to the house and knocked on the door, an old man opened the door, "Excuse me, do you have any extra food, if you don't mind," Lilly asked that man, he looked at both of them and replied, "You are from Maloon, right?"
Lilly knotted, "So is it true that Maloon was overtaken by the Maldas," That man said.
"Wait, how do you know that?" Lilly asked him,
"I have heard about it," That man said,
"So you know about the Maldas," Lilly asked and that man knotted, "We want to know about it. We will destroy them," Lilly said,
"Information about Maldas? Come in," Said that man.
He took them in and gave them some food to eat, "Eat first I will tell you everything as you eat," That man said, "Thank you, mister, by the way, what is your name?" Lilly asked,
"I'm Liam, what about young stars?"
"I'm Lilly and my brother Julian,"
As they were eating Liam started "The Maldas was a curse given to the Maloon river, it was given by the people of the forest, the Norson family. The curse was given as the people of Maloon used and killed the people of the Norson family for their ritual to protect the kingdom from the high tides. When the Norson family found out about the dark side of Maloon they went to war, but the Norson family was outnumbered and a single person was left. That single person cursed the river, the kingdom's lifeline. But a family, the Normen family, were related to the Norson family but joined hands with the king of Maloon on an agreement, the agreement that the port of Maloon should belong to the Normen family and the rest of the kingdom to the king. On this agreement, the Normen family banded the Maldas with their blood magic."
"We are Normen Family, Lilly, and Julian Normen," Lilly said and turned towards Julian, Julian's eyes were burly and he fell, "Julian, Julian wake up!" Lilly tried to wake him but her eyes started to blur out too, she felt dizzy and passed out.

Emma woke up, she looked around to see the sword missing. Steven was filling water in a leather bottle for their long journey ahead, Emma went up to him.
"papa, how far is Lake City?" Emma asked,
"Maybe around 600 kilometers, but why."
"Nothing papa," She replied.
She went to that grass bed that she slept on and searched again, she thought that it was all a dream, the sword, and the Hydrolog. They packed everything and started their journey, they had to go to the Swip City to reach Glimstone, and they had to pass through small villages in the middle.
After riding for 3 hours, the sky started to gray up, the clouds blinded the sun and started to rain.
The rain got heavy as time passed, and they encountered a small abandoned village, they quickly went into one of the small houses. They were completely wet, cold, and shivering.
Inside the abandoned house there were two rooms and a small fireplace, Steven lighted the fireplace with broken wood pieces from chairs and tables to warm their cold bodies, and Emma took a dry cloth and wiped the water off the horse. It looked like night but it was day, the heavy rain turned into a thunderstorm. Thunder reverberated through the sky, the sound was high and loud. The abandoned village was a small forest community that used to live a few years ago, but no one knows why they left the village.
Emma opened the door of the other room, it had a bed, a small reading table, and a wardrobe. She went in to dry up her clothes, as she was about to change she saw something was moving under the bed, she bent down to see what was down, there was a half-dead and half-alive man with his leg stuck into the floor, she didn't know whether it was a human or not. Emma screamed hard, her father broke into the room. He saw that creature, Emma left the room and went near the fireplace. Steven took an old book from the table and the man's leg was out breaking through the wooden floor. It crowed out from the bed and walked towards Steven, Steven bet onto that creature's head and it fell, its bones were brittle and its flesh was rotten and eaten by rats, it had bloody eyes and dead dark skin that covered some parts of its body and some parts didn't even have skin. Steven took out his dagger and stabbed it into that creature's neck, it had no blood but a working heart, and its ribs were out like it had been starving for long. That creature quickly jumped onto Steven, he fell on the floor, Emma took a burning log out of the fireplace and hit that creature on its head. It started to burn, Steven pushed that creature and locked the door, it burned for some time and turned into ash.
Outside the house near the village entrance, there was a creature similar to that Emma encountered in the house. But it was wearing a long black cloak covering its head and riding a half-dead horse, the ground was wet filled with water and blood dripping from the cloak of that creature.
