Rizzo’s face went pale, and he began to tremble.
“Am I going mad? I could swear I just heard a cannon go off nearby.”
Cesare paused, stopping his glass mid-swirling, then rose from the bar stool.
I heard it too. It’s... a helicopter.”
“A helicopter?”
Cesare, usually emotionally unaffected except when acting, showed a hint of bewilderment.
He turned on his phone to check the CCTV footage outside.
A massive helicopter was approaching.
Stepping outside and noticing the helicopter’s low altitude, Cesare realized it was trying to land.
‘Landing...?’
Cesare rushed out of the minibar.
He stepped onto the balcony and looked up.
The helicopter was hovering right above him.
Thump-Thump-Thummmmmp!
Each rotation of the blades sent a piercing noise into Cesare’s ears.
Covering his ears with both hands, Cesare stared up at the massive helicopter in confusion.
‘Is it trying to make an emergency landing?’
