Chapter 1 - Judge of Wrath

I am Gabimaru, the ruler and judge of the Wrath section in Hell.

I've judged souls for as long as I can remember. The memory of losing to Yamamoto Genryuusai still stings—humiliating, to say the least. After arriving in Hell, I slaughtered souls left and right until I rose to become the ruler of the Wrath section and was eventually promoted to Hell Judge. I still recall seeing that woman—it was the most satisfying fight I ever had, even though I didn't show it. It was... fun.

Unohana was standing and looking at the scenery in Hell. She glanced back at me.

"Hm... and who are you?" she asked, her gaze piercing.

I returned her stare. "I see. So, you're in Hell too?"

She walked toward me, her demeanor shifting into one of challenge. "Prepare yourself," she commanded with a smirk, attacking me with incredible speed.

I parried her blow with ease, barely needing to exert any effort. Her eyes widened slightly, and she smirked.

"What is this?" she laughed. "I cannot cut you." She chuckled, her eyes alight with intrigue. "Your defense... it's perfect. So you have a defensive power of your own too? You're strong..." she said, laughing again. "You can parry all my attacks."

She looked genuinely intrigued as I attacked her, moving with such speed that I could barely be seen. My strike narrowly missed her.

"What... what the?" she murmured, a wicked smile forming on her lips. "Are you really that powerful?" Her grin widened. "So, you also have speed and defense on your side. How interesting. Very interesting. Please... continue." She smirked, her anticipation clear.

We continued to clash, and I sent flying slashes her way from time to time. Her excitement grew as our battle went on. She used her Zanjutsu and Shunpo techniques, vanishing and reappearing to match my speed. I could see the thrill in her eyes, though her face remained emotionless.

Matching her Shunpo with even greater speed, I slashed down toward her. She barely managed to block, but my strike cut through a portion of her robe.

"What is this?" she muttered, looking concerned. "Your speed... it surpasses mine, even with Shunpo. You're more talented in battle than I anticipated," she said, smirking.

With a swift movement, I attacked again, my strikes as fluid as a dance, each one more deadly than the last. Phantoms of butterflies seemed to appear with every slash.

She parried with difficulty, visibly in awe, and perhaps a bit envious of my flowing swordsmanship. "What an extraordinary display," she said with a wicked grin. "Your strength... it's immense. I have never seen anyone so skilled in the art of battle."

"It's been a long time since someone survived my attack," I told her, my tone icy.

She grinned wickedly. "You're right. No one... has ever survived this long." She chuckled. "You're truly strong." She looked into my eyes, her stare filled with satisfaction. "You are definitely an exceptional Soul Reaper."

In a flash, I vanished and reappeared, slashing her with my Dance of the Butterfly technique.

Her face registered shock as my strike landed. "How did you—?" she whispered, bewildered by my sudden speed. She could barely keep up with my Dance of a Thousand Butterflies, her guard breaking as cuts covered her body, her blood staining the ground.

"What is this?" she stammered, her voice wavering. "Your swordsmanship is... out of this world." Her smile turned wicked. "You truly are... a powerful Soul Reaper. I think I understand why you're here in Hell now."

"Is that so?" I responded coldly. "Flutter and show your beauty, Enigma."

My Zanpakuto transformed into a rapier with a multicolored blade, its hilt adorned with a butterfly motif, and the guard resembling a rainbow butterfly. Crimson butterflies surrounded me, and my clothing took on the appearance of a noble's robes, complete with butterfly wings at my back. My rapier had now turned into a spear with a mesmerizing, rainbow-colored butterfly pattern.

Unohana stared in awe, momentarily speechless. "Your Bankai... it's magnificent."

I disappeared and pierced her body multiple times in rapid succession.

"Ghaa!!" She gasped in pain, struggling to comprehend my speed. "How...?"

Cuts appeared all over her, blood flowing freely. She panted heavily. "You... you're too strong."

"Is that all?" I asked, disappointed. "If this is your limit, you're no match for those behind me. I thought you were a true swordsman, but you haven't even developed a technique of your own."

Unohana's expression hardened. "I am disappointed." Her gaze turned cold and intense. "You're arrogant."

She vanished in an instant, reappearing behind me with her blade at my throat.

"And you're very disrespectful," she murmured, eyes piercing into mine. "You dare disrespect the first Kenpachi?"

I was already behind her before she knew it, delivering a thousand piercing attacks in the blink of an eye.

"H- huh?" she stammered, barely able to block. She was panting, exhausted, and bleeding heavily. "I've never... met a Soul Reaper with your level of talent."

I looked down at her with cold eyes. "Is this all the famous Kenpachi are capable of?"

Her eyes narrowed, fury blazing within them. "How dare you..." she whispered. Her aura darkened, her malice filling the air. "Do you even know what it means to be Kenpachi?"

I shrugged. "Don't know. Don't care." I unleashed a flurry of slashes, each faster than the last.

Unohana blocked desperately, gritting her teeth. "You... have no respect or knowledge of Soul Society's pride."

My demeanor shifted, the air becoming oppressive. It was as if the world itself was trembling with my fury.

"YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'VE ENDURED!" My voice echoed. "MY ENTIRE EXISTENCE WAS ERASED FROM HISTORY!"

I took a deep breath, then spoke with measured wrath. "Let me formally introduce myself. I am Gabimaru the Hollow, the Ruler of Wrath in Hell and one of the Seven Judges. You dare tell me I know nothing?"

A wave of immense bloodlust and fury emanated from me, engulfing the area. Unohana's eyes widened as she stared at me, taken aback by the sheer intensity of my anger. But then, she laughed—cold, maniacal laughter that cut through the tension.

Calming herself, she stepped forward, her eyes glinting with a dangerous edge. But before she could react, I appeared in front of her and unleashed a powerful slash, sending her flying back. She hit the ground hard, her sword knocked away from her grasp.

Her laughter faded as she took in the scene, her expression finally one of true fear.

"Awaken from your slumber... let the world see your beauty once more... and let it feel your wrath. BANKAI... HARLEQUIN!"

Crimson butterflies burst from my spear, my clothes transforming into noble attire with crimson wings, my rapier shifting into a rainbow-colored spear, adorned with a butterfly motif.

Unohana's face was a mask of astonishment. She could only watch as I swiftly pierced her body, leaving a gaping hole.

Falling to her knees, she gasped, blood flowing from the wound. "You... actually did it..."

Chains erupted from the ground, binding her tightly. Her Zanpakuto lay in my hands, stripped from her without her even realizing it.

"Don't worry, you won't die," I said, coldly deactivating my Bankai. "But your consciousness will be locked away forever."

"W-why...?" Her face was a mix of terror and disbelief. "You... you're a monster."

I gazed down at her, my expression unchanging. "As a Judge of Hell, it's my duty to imprison those who threaten the balance."

Defeated and bound, Unohana looked down, unable to speak or move, the weight of her fate settling heavily upon her.
