Chapter 121 - Chapter121. What Are You Laughing At, Little Teacher?

The trees on both sides of the road have already sprouted new buds, different from the bare trunks before, they are full of vitality.

There are many vehicles coming and going on the street.

William leans half his body on Ellie, but he doesn't dare to press on her at all, she is too thin, and he is afraid she can't bear it.

Under the streetlight, the silhouette of the girl's profile is very beautiful, her skin is like fine pearls, very white, with a hint of pink, her nose is quite upturned, her eyelashes are curly, and have a ruddy complexion.

William looks at her and can't help but gently lift the corners of his mouth.

Liking someone is probably about having a heartbeat at just one glance.

The night in City A is extremely lively, but this time William doesn't feel lonely, his heart is filled with sweetness and softness.

...

Downstairs.

"Wait for me for a moment, I have something for you."

"Okay."

In a few minutes, William saw Ellie coming down with a bag. William saw the books inside and couldn't help but say, "Your injury is not healed yet, Little Teacher really cares about me."

"My hand is not injured, I can still write."

William looked at her and just smiled.

"Lower your head, William."

William obediently lowered his head. Ellie took out a pink band-aid from her pocket.

"Little Teacher, isn't it a bit too pink?"

"I only have this."

William said it was pink, but he still obediently kept his head down and let her apply it.

Ellie looked at the wound on his face, tore open the band-aid and applied it to his face. She spoke softly, "This one has medicine in it, and it won't leave a sticky residue on your face."

"Okay." William looked at her and smiled.

Ellie took out a handful of band-aids from her pocket and said, "Remember to change one when you wash your face."

William took a few from her hand and said, "Keep the rest for you, I won't need that many."

"I don't get injured often."

"Then keep them with Little Teacher for now."

Ellie put the band-aids back in her pocket and said, "Alright."

"Go upstairs quickly."

"Okay."

William watched her go upstairs, and when she was about to turn the corner, he saw Ellie look back and smile at him.

He couldn't help but lift the corners of his lips.

...

"Little Teacher, are we starting to write materials today?"

Ellie looked up at William in the camera and said, "Write."

"Okay."

In a few minutes, William raised his head and said to Ellie, "Why does my writing look different from before?"

"Because this is the basic version." Ellie looked at William and said, "After you finish this, you can get the basic points."

"Okay, I will continue to practice questions from today."

She looked at the pink band-aid she put on William's face and felt like laughing for some reason.

There was an inexplicable sense of incongruity.

She was thinking with her head down and couldn't help but laugh.

William saw her shoulders shaking slightly and said, "Crying?"

He went through a mental storm, not knowing why he wanted to apologize.

As soon as he saw her eyes turn red, he felt it was his fault.

Before he could speak, he saw Ellie covering her lips and looking up.

William saw her eyes curved, a pair of almond-shaped eyes like little crescent moons, and was relieved that she wasn't crying.

"What are you laughing at, Little Teacher?"

"No, you should keep working on your questions."

William worked on his questions while Coco lay on his shoulder looking at Ellie.

Coco meowed for a while.

William said, "It might be because it has been so many days without seeing you, and it misses you."

"Then bring it out tomorrow."

"Okay."

Just as William finished speaking, he heard a knock on the door.

He said to Ellie, "Wait a moment, I'll go open the door."

"Okay."

William opened the door and saw Ashley standing at the door, saying, "What's up?"

"Can I do my homework in your room? I have some questions I want to ask you."

William didn't say yes or no, he just looked down at him, and after a while, he said, "Come in."

William pointed to the table next to him and said, "You sit here and do your homework, don't bother me."

"Okay, thank you, brother."

Ellie saw the little boy in the camera, and their eyebrows and eyes were somewhat similar, but William's features were colder, and he looked fierce when he had no expression.

William was working on his questions, occasionally looking up at Ellie.

He noticed Ellie staring at him, and he couldn't help but smile and say, "What? Is Little Teacher supervising me?"

Ellie came back to her senses and said, "Yes, I am supervising you."

She looked at the gentle smile of the teenager on the screen and was somewhat dazed. She would organize all the materials he would need later, but she didn't know if she would see the day he reached the top of the mountain.

Ashley looked at William laughing at the phone and glanced at William.

It turned out that her brother also had such a gentle side.

He sat obediently on a small stool and withdrew his gaze.

William was working on his questions and noticed a pair of small hands reaching over. He looked at Ashley and said, "What's up?"

"I'm done, brother, check it."

"It's such a hassle." William opened his homework and looked from beginning to end. Apart from one question without a unit, the rest were all correct.

Ashley and Ellie in the phone made eye contact.

William pointed to the question and said, "No unit written."

"I will definitely not be careless next time, thank you, brother."

William made a sound and heard Ashley say, "Is brother video chatting with a girlfriend?"

"Where did you hear such words at your young age?" William spoke harshly, but his ears were red.

Ashley twisted his fingers and dared not speak, then secretly glanced at Ellie.

Ellie smiled and said, "I am his classmate."

Ashley spoke politely, "Hello, sister."

"Hello."

William stuffed the homework back into his hand and said, "Go back to your room and play."

"I will come to find brother tomorrow." Ashley left the room happily with his homework.

"He is quite cute, can't make people dislike him."

William heard her praise him as cute and didn't want to let him in tomorrow.

Seeing William's silence, Ellie said, "You should memorize some vocabulary."

"Okay."

William read the words while writing them on paper. Feeling he had memorized them, he covered the Chinese with paper and tried to recall the English, then tried the other way around, circled the ones he didn't remember well, and memorized them a few more times.

In no time, he had memorized the thirty words he needed to learn.

Ellie said, "Review them tomorrow and then learn new words."

William said, "Okay."

Before going to bed, William looked at Ellie on the screen and said, "Is he really that cute?"

Ellie realized William was talking about his brother and said, "He is not as cute as you."

"Me?" William had heard many evaluations, but he had never heard the word "cute." He was momentarily stunned and incredulous.

"Yes, not as cute as you."

William saw her eyes curved and said, "What are you laughing at, Little Teacher?"
