The floor was dark, and it reeked of chemicals, but Aidoneus picked up on a hint of iron smell. He moved the back of his sleeve up to cover his nose as his eyes started to glow turquoise, he knew that smell all too well 'Blood' crossed his mind as they inched forward. Alexander had a flashlight he'd turn on, then off around each corner check. It was eerily quiet.
The forward progress was slow, each corner they took they'd see horrors on the shelf. Trophy pieces the killer kept. Alexander was disgusted to see the number of bloodied women clothing he saw. 'Just how many people did he kill?' his mind questioned.
Peter and Adrian reached the back of the warehouse. Adrian reached down to open the door, but it was locked. Peter sighed and bent down to work on unlocking it. The rain started pouring down on them, so much so they didn't hear multiple vehicles pull up on them.
Alexander slowly moved forward and turned his flashlight on, shining it on a box that would light up the warehouse.
"Hey... once I turn this on they'll know where here" he whispered in Aidoneus 's direction. Aidoneus nodded and responded, "Make sure you stay behind me, I can attempt to be somewhat of a shield for you" he grinned at his friend. Alexander nodded in agreement and flipped the switch.
The lights flickered on revealing the center of the room. It was lined with tarps, a table full of bloodied tools, a bloodied bed to the left and Kore tied up in between. She was slumped over, hands bound so tightly her wrists were turning purple.
Aidoneus fought every urge to run towards her, Alexander tapped his shoulder for the OK to move forward. He took a step towards her; he was barely breathing as they slowly approached her.
His fists were clenched so tightly his knuckles were turning white, he was doing everything in his power to not scorch his friend behind him. He finally made it, standing over her. He couldn't smell her scent; all he could smell was blood.
Alexander made his way around to her; the poor girl was bloody and bruised with nothing but torn underwear on her. He put his hand up to check her pulse, she immediately woke up trying to fight him off.
"Shh... it's ok I'm Detective..." he stopped as Aidoneus stooped next to her, placing his forehead on hers. She pushed him, injuring her hands even more as she attempted to move away. He grabbed her hands gently, and pulled her into him as he whispered, "I'm here now agápi mou".
Kore stopped, staring blankly forward. Her vision was still being affected by the venom Collin pumped her full of. She thought she was hallucinating until Aidoneus warmth wrapped around her. Her eyes welled up with tears as her lip quivered, causing it to reopen from her previous beating from her captor.
Aidoneus removed his coat and wrapped her up in it as Alexander brought a pair of wire cutters to cut the wire off her hands. Aidoneus took them and held her hands. He paused, gritting his teeth as he noticed all her nails were ripped off. His eyes slowly started inspecting her whole body, his blood boiled as he saw that she was riddled with multiple bite marks, bruises, and cuts.
He moved his way to cut the wiring around her ankles. He had to look away for a moment when he saw how badly her ankle was broken.
"A..i..d..o...n" she barely whispered. Her voice was hoarse and defeated. It took everything he had not to burn down the warehouse as she spoke. "I... s... that re...really you?" she barely managed to get that sentence out before falling off the chair into him. He held her as she wept.
Alexander had to turn away. The scene was all too familiar to him, except he didn't have his wife thanking him. She was removed in a body bag. He turned to Aidoneus and saw the anger in his face.
"I'll sweep the rest of the..." he was struck in the neck with a dart. He immediately froze in place, the burning of the venom entering his neck caused him to hesitate for just a moment, letting it do its job and immobilizing him.
Aidoneus saw another dart heading in his direction, he managed to turn to shield Kore as the dart sunk into his shoulder blade. He winced from the burning sensation as he reached up and yanked it out.
"Aidoneus .." Kore whispered as he set her down. He kissed her cheek, standing up to face the direction the dart came from.
"Oh my! You're a big fellow for it to not act straight away" Collin said as he sat up on the rafters far away from Aidoneus . He playfully kicked his feet back and forth as he loaded another dart.
Aidoneus glared at the man, as he started to heat up his body to burn the venom off. Collin shook a finger at him "No, no," he said as he took aim and shot another dart. Aidoneus grabbed it midair and snapped it.
"Oh... that's new" Collin grinned leaning forward on his perch. Collins information told him Aidoneus could only use heat manipulation up to 100 feet. His reflexes were above average, and his speed was the same. Nothing compared to what Zen or Hippio could do. Collin was fascinated by the development he saw in Aidoneus , it was like what he saw himself. He loaded another dart.
"Well, well it looks like you have tapped into some more power over the past couple of days, hmmm?" Collin cocked an eyebrow at Aidoneus who stood there with murderous intentions.
Aidoneus stood there, glaring at the man. He was studying him, he gave off a snake like aura to him, he feared if he jumped in too quickly, he'd leave Kore and Alexander exposed. Every inch of his body screamed at him this man was more dangerous than he seemed.
Collin took aim at Aidoneus , but slightly changed his aim to Alexander who stood frozen in place. He pulled the trigger; the dart flew out towards Alexander. Aidoneus stood in front of it, grabbing it in his hands again. As his hand grasped the dart, another one flew into his leg.
He winced as he felt the venom pump into his blood stream.
He quickly pulled it out, just to see Collin was no longer on the rafters. He felt a chill down his spine as a dart was injected into his neck.
"You're not the only one who's advanced in their abilities Mr. Doukas" Collin coyly said as he took a step back. As Aidoneus fell to his knees. His eyes started to glow more as he tried burning the venom off.
"You see, oddly since I've been with my little doll" he walked around Aidoneus and stabbed him again "I've found I'm faster, stronger, my limp is gone" He shook his leg "And more toxic than before!" Aidoneus gritted his teeth, he grabbed Collin by the neck. The man laughed as he easily broke out of Aidoneus 's hold.
"You see, you're not the only one with abilities anymore." He stated as he walked up to Kore, who lay helplessly on the floor. He grabbed her by the hair pulling her up to him. He caressed her chest in front of Aidoneus.
"You and your buddies can watch as I make my doll, I think you'd like it" he licked her face while smiling at Aidoneus .
Aidoneus was immediately behind Collin, without a sound, without a warning he pulled him away from Kore, slamming the man into the warehouse floor. The concrete cracking from the impact. He pulled his hand back and smashed it into Collins' grinning face.
"That's all you have!?" Collin laughed at Aidoneus . Collins' newfound abilities were odd for him. His skin was like a hard shell, his wounds healed faster, his venom acted faster and lasted longer, and he was able to freeze people with fear just from speaking. He grabbed Aidoneus by the arm and sunk his teeth into it, causing him to let him go. Collin slithered out from underneath him and stood across from him.
Aidoneus was huffing, his vision blurry, he felt his muscles start to freeze up. He managed to shoot a glance towards Kore who was dragging her way to Alexander. He focused back onto Collin who was no longer there, he was sitting on a crate behind him laughing.
"You don't realize it yet, do you? Mr. Big bad wolf" he hopped down and made his way over to Aidoneus .
"You aren't the top of the food chain, you're weak! You're so weak you didn't even realize what you have in front of you!" He made his way back to Kore, grabbed her broken ankle and dragged her. She let out a scream that snapped Aidoneus out of his hold.
He used every ounce of strength as he moved his feet towards them.
"You didn't realize you have a fertility goddess on your hands" he flung Kore away from Alexander and away from Aidoneus into the table full of his instruments.
"You see, your father knew of her, he wrote about her in his little journal I found in the landfill." He walked over to inspect Alexander.
He continued as he tipped the man over "The Hyperion's caught wind of me and naturally found out I had possession of this book, so they paid me handsomely for it. I planned on double crossing them and getting the book back, but you did all the work for me!" he clapped his hands giddily as he made his way back over to Aidoneus who was still trying to move.
"Now I'm working with Zen, who doesn't really know what Kore is, but she won't reach her true potential until she meets her equal power source. So that means I can keep her all to my little self!" He picked up the dart gun and shot Aidoneus again, directly in the chest. "It doesn't help that your lil ol dad was so scared of you he power locked you so you couldn't reach your full potential" He pouted at Aidoneus , he could clearly see the rage on his face which brought him to laugh.
"So hated, even your father wanted you to fail" He jabbed Aidoneus forehead with his finger.
"No!" Kore managed to yell out as she heaved herself up using the table Collin had all his tools on. "You.... You're wrong!" she huffed as she barely held herself up. She locked eyes with Aidoneus . "I.....don't hate you...I..." Collin swiftly made his way to her and grabbed her by the throat before she could finish her sentence.
Kore reached out to the table frantically trying to grasp anything, her fingers landed on a screwdriver, she swiftly snatched it, pulling it up and jammed it into Collins eye, he threw her blindly, sending her crashing into Alexander's paralyzed body. He yanked out the screwdriver cursing at her as blood spilled onto the floor.
Aidoneus managed to move and was on top of Collin in seconds. He grabbed the man, his touch started to burn Collin who tried to squirm away. He placed his hands on Collins' head and started squeezing as hard as he could. Collin started to claw at him, screaming. A gun shot echoed through the building as blood splattered onto Collins' face.
Collin fell to the ground as Aidoneus fell to his knee, grasping his shoulder. Collin frantically looked around and saw several armed guards standing in the back. More entered the front, holding Adrian and Peter hostage. The other guards that were with them were nowhere to be found.
"Oh, thank goodness, right on time!" Collin hurried over to them while holding his hand over his injured eye. One of the guards had a phone in their hands and handed it over to Collin. He took it, placing it up to his ear.
"Collin!" Zen boomed. Even Aidoneus could hear his brother's voice, which made him unconsciously roll his eyes.
"Yes Mr. Doukas! It's great to hear from yo- "Zen abruptly cut him off "My good man, you don't think I didn't hear what you just said, right?"
Collin froze. 'How long were they standing there' he questioned himself as Zen spoke. "I don't take double crossing lightly my friend".
"But sir I was-"a gunshot rang out as a bullet grazed Collins ear. He dropped the phone and scrambled to find cover as a hailstorm of bullets were unloaded onto him.
As the guards took aim and unloaded their rounds, Aidoneus found himself struggling to heal his wounds. The venom wasn't wearing off as easily as he hopped, moving proved to be difficult as he tried to make his way to Kore. Blood kept spilling out of his shoulder onto the floor as he managed to get onto his feet.
Kore was slumped on Alexander. She had her hand up by the dart entrance on his neck, her eyes were glowing pink when Aidoneus laid his eyes on her. Kore was trying to extract some venom so Alexander could breathe easily. She managed to get just enough out as she felt his chest raise and fall. She looked up to Aidoneus who could see her beautiful cheeks sunken in from exhaustion.
Peter and Adrian took advantage of the chaos the guards rained down on Collin and managed to subdue two guards. They quickly took up their weapons and took aim. Peter managed to shoot one guard before another hit him in the face with the butt of their gun, knocking him down. They went on for another hit, but Peter managed to grab the weapon from the attacker, spinning it around on them and shooting them.
Adrian was fighting off two guards as more turned their attention onto them. Adrian grabbed a guard and used him as a shield as bullets went flying his way, Peter managed to find cover as more guards started entering the warehouse.
Collin was holding his eye as bullets shredded through the crate, he heard the commotion Peter and Adrian made and took advantage of it, moving to a different spot for cover. He caught a glimpse of Aidoneus struggling, which brought a smile to his face. He peeked around the spot he was hiding in as more guards entered the warehouse, they formed a half circle around Peter and Adrian who were fighting valiantly.
Adrian made it behind the same cover Peter was. He noticed his friends' burns were opened and oozing from the fight. Peter was heavily breathing as he glanced at Adrian. Peter extended his hand out for a fist bump. Adrian bumped his fist with his, nodded and they both leaned out of their covers and opened fire on the guards.
Bullets started flying in the direction of the trio stuck in the venoms paralyzing hold. Aidoneus took another shot to his back, as another bullet ricochet off the floor and grazed Kore's leg. She winced, grabbing hold of Alexander who was lucky to be unharmed.
Aidoneus gritted his teeth and moved in front of Kore, providing her coverage from more harm. He took a bullet to the back of his knee, shattering it, causing him to fall on her. He pushed himself up on his hands, as Kore kept her body over Alexander. She turned her head to face Aidoneus , who was merely inches from her.
Adrian took a bullet to the shoulder, sending him flying back as Peter took a bullet to the side, causing him to duck back behind cover. They both started throwing curse words as they tried to reload their weapons.
"Enough with the small fry, were here to take out Aidoneus and to grab the girl" one of the guards said. Aidoneus turned his head to glance over his shoulder, he counted 30 guards, and, in his condition, he could only take out, at most, five. He turned back to face Kore. He didn't realize how badly he was bleeding until he looked at her. Her face had splotches of blood from him, he reached up and rubbed some off of her, she pushed her face into his hand, tears streaming down her face.
"Agápi mou..." he whispered as it was hard for him to breathe. She shook her head, knowing what he was going to say next. She felt Alexander start to come too. Aidoneus looked at the Detective.
"Fíle mou, please get her out of here" he pushed up off the floor with a grunt, blood fell from his wounds splattering onto Kore's face, he struggled to turn to face the guards, putting all his weight on his good leg. He felt Kore's hand grip his ankle as he glanced down at her.
"I didn't know that this fleeting feeling in my chest was love Kore.... You brought me life and I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world" he finished saying, smiling down to her. She sobbed, words wouldn't come out. The words she desperately wanted to say stayed stuck in her throat as Aidoneus turned and used all his might to block the incoming wall of bullets.
Collin clapped and laughed as he saw the hail of bullets landing on Aidoneus , who managed to block a good portion with his abilities but due to the amount of venom Collin pumped him full of made the man's efforts futile. Aidoneus eventually fell back to his knees, coughing up blood as he peeled over with a sickening thump on the cold concrete floor. 'Back where he belongs Collin grinned to the thought.
Alexander started to move and tri
ed to grab Kore; she fought him off sobbing. He tried to hold her but was still too weak to grab onto her. She desperately crawled to Aidoneus .
The guards started walking up to them, she managed to grab Aidoneus 's arm and pulled herself up to him. His breathing was ragged, as she placed her head on his chest. She managed to get into a sitting position and moved his head into her lap. She angrily looked up at the guards, then back at Aidoneus . His eyes were closed as his breathing slowly disappeared.
"I... I love you Aidoneus Doukas ... I have loved you since I first laid eyes on you and I will love no one else" she placed her hands on the side of his cheeks, leaned in and kissed him as his last breath left his body.
"God damnit! Let her go!" Alexander yelled as the guards snatched Kore up away from Aidoneus . They hoisted Alexander up onto his feet.
"Shut the fu- "The guard stopped mid-sentence as the temperature in the room became insanely hot. Collin looked around panicked as the heat started to become visible to the naked eye. The guard who pulled Kore up dropped her as he burst into a turquoise flame.
Alexanders adrenaline kicked in, he quickly swooped Kore up and ducked behind a container as a hole started to burn where Aidoneus was at. The guards turned their attention to it and started opening fire. Peter and Adrian ushered Alexander to follow them, they took advantage of the situation to escape, as the warehouse groaned and started to set fire.
Aidoneus rose from the floor, the ground buckling from the immense heat, he was engulfed in a turquoise flame. His wounds steamed off as his knee regenerated with a cracking sound.
The bullets pushed out of his body melted before hitting the floor. The guards started to panic and turned to flee only to be met with a wall of fire. They were trapped with the furry of a god.
Aidoneus walked up to the first guard in front of him, the guard unloaded his weapon on him, watching the bullets melt upon contact.
Aidoneus teleported to the man, grabbing him, his flame turning the man into dust before he could scream. He turned and headed to the other guards; he was going to make them suffer.
He lowered the heat he was emitting as he snatched another guard, lifted him up with ease and slammed him onto the floor, smashing his skull with a sickening 'thump'. He quickly moved, jumping onto two more guards and dragging their faces on the concrete like chalk, leaving smears where their faces impacted.
He lifted up the bodies and threw them into the fire that was starting to engulf the warehouse.
He turned, with an evil grin on his face, eyes glowing a haunting turquoise as he grabbed another guard into a bear hug and squeezed as his back snapped in half.
He kept squeezing till his insides turned to mush, then threw him aside like a toddler does when they're bored with a toy. He saw guards screaming, in the fire as they wanted to take their chances with escape through the flames. Others fell to their knees, pleading to be spared by the ruthless tyrant.
"Spare? You?" he laughed. His laugh filled the warehouse along with the roaring of the fire. "Not even hell will spare you" he said coldly as he snapped his fingers, sending out a stream of fire lighting the rest of the guards up. They screamed, rolling around in agony as the fire burned its way into their skin.
The smell of burning flesh filled the air as the poor victims clawed at their skin. He looked down at them as their screams became a hiss that blended into the sounds of the fire.
Collin was terrified. He sat there trembling in his hiding spot as the fire threatened to burn him. He stood up to sneak his way out, only to run headfirst into Aidoneus .
"Ai...Aidoneus you know it was Zen who..." Aidoneus cut him off by grabbing his arm and snapping it in one fluid motion. Collin screamed as the bone in his forearm protruded from his skin. He leaned into Collins ear and whispered, "You're going to tell the devil I say hello, correct?" Collin froze as Aidoneus pulled back, smiling. He reached down, grabbed the bone sticking out of Collins' arm and bent it forwards, causing him to fall to his knees screaming. He let go as he walked around the pathetic sobbing man.
He grabbed Collins' good arm, placing his foot between his shoulder blades, and pulled until his arm popped out of the socket with a sickening 'pop'. Collin fell to the floor screaming and writhing in pain as Aidoneus looked down on him, smiling. He was going to break every bone in this man's body for what he did Kore.
Peter dodged out of the way from a burning beam that fell to the floor. Alexander covered Kore's head protectively as he fought to get around the debris.
He struggled to carry her, with the venom just now disappearing from his body. The heat was intense, the smoke from the fire burning the chemicals was making everyone dizzy. Adrian saw a beam fall towards the detective, he rushed forward and shoved them out of the way, as the beam smashed on Adrian.
Peter spun around and ran back to help his friend; Alexander was on one knee from the shove; the opening of the warehouse was just in front of them. He grunted as he heaved himself up, making his way to safety. As he exited, he was greeted by more guards, aiming their weapons at them.
Aidoneus pulled Collin up with his collar, he tilted his head as he pulled Collins' hand up, snapping one finger backwards.
"P...l... ease." he whimpered out, he couldn't muster up enough strength to scream anymore, the heat was sucking out all the moisture in the room, drying out his gaping eye socket and the wound his bone created. Aidoneus grabbed another finger, snapping it causing Collin to grimace, Aidoneus smiled as he heard Collins teeth grind from the pain.
"Did you stop when all those women pleaded?" He snapped another finger as he coyly asked Collin the question. Collin weakly shook his head. Aidoneus scoffed and dropped him on the floor.
"You know, I want to break every bone in your body to make you suffer" Aidoneus seethed looking down on the man. He stood over him and bent down.
"But I think I know something far worse..." He put hand on Collin's rib cage, Collin started squirming and screaming as his flesh burned away slowly. It melted down through the first layer of skin, then through the dermis and then slowly through the hypodermis making its way to the muscle layers.
As the muscle slowly started burning away exposing the bone and lung, Collin passed out. Aidoneus grabbed his chin, smacking him awake. Collin groggily looked around as Aidoneus stood up to leave. He looked down and saw the hole that was burned through his ribs, trembling from the pain he rolled over trying to get up. Aidoneus turned back and put his full force into standing on the back of Collins knee, snapping it like a twig.
"You will burn in the depths of hell, but before you do, you'll slowly be carried there by my wrath". He spat at Collin, then turned to leave as the warehouse's flames slowly crept towards Collin, sealing his fate.
Peter grabbed the burning beam and tried lifting it off Adrian, his burns spread through his forearms and crept up to his biceps, he refused to let his friend die this way.
"O fílos mou! Please!" Adrian shouted over the roaring flames; Peter looked at his friend, he was gesturing for him to leave without him. Petr moved away from the beam wincing from the pain. He shook his head, no, grabbed Adrian by the arms and pulled as hard as he could. The fire on the beam and surrounding them went out, as Aidoneus emerged. He grabbed the beam with one hand, throwing it to the side. Peter helped Adrian up. Aidoneus looked at the two solemnly. Peter saw the look on his face and gave him a thumbs up while smiling through the pain. Aidoneus gestured for them to go in front, while giving them a nod.
Peter and Adrian made their way through the burning entrance, Aidoneus re-ignited the space behind them so Collin couldn't escape. He moved forward, extinguishing the turquoise fire that engulfed them just enough to get them through the entrance. They stumbled out, with Aidoneus walking up behind them.
They all froze as they saw more guards standing there, already aiming their weapons at Kore and Alexander. Alexander glanced behind the guards in front of him and saw a line of bodies behind them. It must have been Aidoneus 'guards they lined up and executed he thought grimly to himself. He heard a helicopter coming in from a distance, squinting through the rain, he saw a line of news vans parked in the back.
"You guys can't seriously be doing this while being watched!" He shouted, tilting his head in the direction of the newscasters." I'm Detective Alexander! If you execute me now..." A guard put his hand up to interrupt him.
"Our orders are for everyone to watch" he responded coldly as he was pointing his weapon at the Detective and Kore. He squeezed the trigger letting a line of bullets release from his weapon. Alexander spun around to protect Kore, she gasped at the jolt, covering her face as he pulled her closer to him. There was an eerie silence, as the sound of sizzling came from behind them.
Alexander glanced over his shoulder to see Aidoneus standing there, liquid metal splashing the floor in front of him. Alexander noticed the rain had stopped, he looked up and noticed the rain was evaporating above them, he noticed the helicopter above them shining a light down on them, illuminating the steam coming from the area they were standing in. It reached all the way up to the news caster vans, which were at least 1,000 feet in front of them.
Aidoneus stood there, he put his hand on his neck as he cracked it. He looked at the guards who were dumbfounded.
"Oh? I bet everyone will love watching this..." He grinned, laying his eyes on the first guard who shot at Alexander. He took a step forward, the ground melting under his foot, he slowly made his way up to the guard line as they backed away from the man.
A turquoise flame started to burn around him, swirling its way up his body as he stopped, he reached his hand out and snapped his fingers. The guard stood there for a moment, his eyes started to bubble as they exploded, and a blue flame burst from inside his body. The remaining guards dropped their weapons as they succumbed to the same fate. He snapped his finger again, the flames extinguishing themselves, the rain fell back into place as he turned back to Alexander.
Alexander turned around holding Kore in his arms. She looked at Aidoneus , lip quivering, she placed her hands over her face as she sobbed. Adrian and Peter leaned on each other, as their eyes fell on their fallen comrades. They both looked away, both grateful they still had each other. Aidoneus took in the sight, as the warehouse still burned behind the four of them. He let out a sigh, and walked up to Alexander, arms stretched out. Alexander nodded towards him and handed off Kore to him.
Kore was still sobbing into her bloodied bruised hands as Aidoneus took her from Alexander. The helicopter spotlight was blinding but illuminated all of Kore's injuries. He held her close to him, as he placed his forehead onto hers.
"Shh... it's ok agápi̱ mou" he kissed her forehead as he turned to head towards the cars that laid behind the news line.
"I... I thought you were dead" she sobbed as she turned into his chest, rubbing her face on him. He could feel the mix of snot and blood roll down his chest. He let out a soft chuckle.
"Kore, stop crying, you're opening up your wounds again agápi̱ mou" He looked down at her as they approached the news line, the cameras went going off, news reporters where shouting his name as the helicopter followed them. He glanced up at them, then back to Kore.
"You trust me agápi̱ mou?" He cocked an eyebrow at her as she looked up at him with a snot bubble coming out of her nose, she yipped her tears away with a nod.
He looked forward, eyes glowing, as his body slowly started to engulf in fire. The fire was a translucent turquoise as it surrounded him and Kore, the news reporters stepped back. Kore welcomed the heat as she snuggled up to his chest, she winced at a slight tug on her ankle.
"Mr. Doukas! We-" the reporters were shouting, cutting each other off. He interrupted them with a death stare. Their shouting died down to a hush.
"I know you're watching Zen" he said as he turned to the camera. He gritted his teeth and continued "You pulled the pin brother, now you deal with the aftermath" he turned away from the camera and continued forward to the car. Alexander, Adrian and Peter followed.
They reached the cars, Alexander helped Adrian into the back seat of one, as Aidoneus told Peter to sit on the passenger side. Alexander opened a door and helped him slide Kore into the back seat next to Adrian. He had her in a sitting position, when she leaned into the side to rest her head. She glanced up at Aidoneus , tears still streaming but a small smile on her face. He leaned in and kissed her forehead. She grabbed his wrist before he turned to leave.
"Neat new trick" she said while looking down at her ankle. It was completely healed, along with her other injuries. Aidoneus nodded slightly at her with a smile. Alexander walked up to them, holding Vasilios Hyperion.
"I've got to take this man to the precinct." He rolled his head back, clearly exhausted. Aidoneus placed his hand on the man's shoulder, as a turquoise flame engulfed just him. He almost let go of Vasilios out of shock, he felt any trance of venom completely leaving his body. The small dart hole healed up.
"Aidon-" He stared mouth agape. Aidoneus put a finger up to hush him, then gestured him to his car. Alexander took the hint, he thanked him for helping him get Vasilios into custody, then dragged the burned cursing man away to his car. Aidoneus stood outside of his car as Alexander pulled off. The helicopter held its beam steadily on them now. He sighed, closed Kore's door and entered the driver's seat. He turned the key and made his way to the exit to take his family back where they belonged, home.
