The competition is about to begin as students troop in to witness the fights.Students are seen moving as they scrambled around trying to get a better view.A admiral climbed the podium,
"Great Students of DRAXTON ACADEMY,we are here to witness the competition.I know that you are all ecstatic but I want you all to be careful.With the Blessings of the MOON GODDESS,I declare this competition started."
The competition started in earnest as the participants showed their fighting prowess.The first fight was between Trevor,a firebender and Xade,a dragon.
The fight started immediately,it lasted for about 15 minutes before it came to an end with Xade as the winner even though he was a fresher.This shocked the seniors as they could not believe that Xade could defeat Trevor.
The second fight was between Kraken,a demon- vampire hybrid and Diego,a wizard.The fight didn't last long as Kraken defeated Diego with ease.This boosted the seniors morale.
The third fight was between two freshers; Lucille and Michelle.The both of them were proficient with magic but Michelle being half vampire had more durability giving her the upper hand in the fight making her the eventual winner.
The competition went on.The fourth fight between Diaz and Kayla,a female senior who was a witch.Kayla emerged as the winner as Diaz was defeated easily.The fights went on and on as most seniors were having the upper hand with few freshers defeating the seniors.
After a series of fights it was time for the last fight which drew everyone's attention.A fight between a senior named Reeva and a fresher named Xander.
As they walked to the fight area,we could identify Reeva as the lady working for Megga Roth.She is a Air-Lightning bender hybrid while Xander was actually a Fairy sent with others as undercover to protect the last piece of the medallion.
The fight began immediately after the bell was rung.Xander started the fight by releasing his energy.
FAIRY MAGIC: ESTERO DELLI FLAMIRO
Immediately Xander chanted fire began to burn Reeva but a great wind blew and extinguished the fire which surprised Xander.But before he do anything a gale of wind blew him off his feet.Reeva supersped to Xander in an attempt to punch him but Xander read her movement and dodged the punch but was not fast enough to dodge the kick to his abdomen.
"ARRRRRRGGGGHHH!!!!!", Xander groaned as the kick sent him flying through the air but he regained his balance and landed.Before he could regain his composure Reeva sent air blasts to him but his wings appeared and he flew trying to dodge the air blasts which were coming towards him ferociously.Reeva's eyes sparked with lightning as lightning struck from the sky towards Xander but he was lucky enough to dodge it.
"FAIRY MAGIC:GATES OF FURASIO"
Xander chanted and immediately portals began to appear around Reeva as flaming blades came out of them towards her,this attack surprised her as she was slammed on the ground.She sent lightning towards Xander but he dodged the attack and flew towards Reeva and released fire against her but Reeva was not lucky enough to dodge the fire as it threw her towards the wall making it crack.In a feat of rage Reeva sent a bolt of lightning towards Xander who did not notice it.The force of the lightning slammed Xander on the ground, Reeva came down directing a kick towards Xander which he luckily evaded but the impact of the kick made the ground to crack.
Xander who was overwhelmed by Reeva's hybrid bending powers tried to cast a spell but a strong bolt of lightning struck him to the ground as it cracked, Reeva then used her wind powers to slam Xander on the walls several times.This action completely sapped Xander's strength making him very weak and tired.Reeva combined her wind powers with her lightning and sent it towards Xander which completely weakened him as he coughed up blood.Therefore Reeva was declared the winner.
The competition ended with a speech from the Chief Admiral who announced the positions of the students that participated in the competition.
Kraken got the award for the best fighter and the senior with the lowest defeats but actually he had no defeat because he won all his fights.
Xade got the award for the junior with the lowest defeats since he only suffered 2 defeats, one against a witch, Kayla and a Dragon, Graham
A witch,Faye and Lucille tied for the witch with the highest proficiency in magic.
The most proficient bender went to Reeva aka Storm Princess
The fastest attacker went to a junior Vladimir,a firebender while the best defence went to a junior also Jacque,a human-demon
The best attacker went to a senior named Ashley,a earthbender
The best feline was given to a senior named Dominiq and the best canine went to Chris.
