DESCENDANTS OF THE MOON

SYNOPSIS

The world is now full of supernaturals, ranging from Vampires and Lycans to Demons and Dragons.Humans are oblivious to their existence.

The supernaturals roam the Earth, living among ignorant Humans.They are trained in different Academys to fight against evil and protect the Human race and Earth itself from destruction.

The Laws,Powers, Weaknesses and Abominations of each supernatural specie has been put in place by the Moon Goddess.Each specie has a leader mostly chosen on the basis of their strength and leadership skills.

This story examines the lifestyle and activities of the supernaturals on Earth.To Humans the supernaturals are myths about Creatures of the Night.

Chapter One

DRAXTON ACADEMY

It's a new morning in DRAXTON ACADEMY, students pour in from different angles into the academy;it is obviously the academy's resumption day.

DRAXTON ACADEMY is a school for supernaturals.It is named after Don Draxton,a powerful supernatural hybrid.It is located in the United States, being the academy for the North American Continent.Each Continent has a supernatural academy.

IN THE HALL

A tall man is seen standing and addressing the restive students who are all arrayed before him.He is one of the school's administrator,he is ADMIRAL DWAYNE popularly called AXE-MAN by the students.He gave the students a brief lecture on y the school and it's laws and then they were dismissed.

"Oh man I can't wait to have a tour of the school",a student said, obviously a new entrant

"Hey dude, this school year isn't a bed of roses.You got to be strong unless you get bullied by the seniors", another student replied, downing the hope of the new student

MEANWHILE :⁠-Mt. Rainier National Park

The Park bustled with enthralled tourists who roamed the Mountain as they had fun.

At the far side of the Park, very close to the Mountain,a boy is seen with his father,they were having a nice chat while munching on sandwiches and juice.

"I have some news for you boy", the father spoke, the boy looked attentively at his father who continued speaking

"You will be going to the Academy tomorrow"

"Really", the boy exclaimed"so am going to see others like me "

"Yes,so happy now?"his father asked

"Yes Dad am really happy"the boy answered"so what...."

The boy was interrupted by the ringtone of his father's phone

His father picked the phone and after a quick chat,he hung up

"I think it is time to go home",the father said

They packed up and then they left.

The man is Mr Warren and his son is Jacque.

ALVAN'S MANSIONS

"Leslie",a thick voice rang downstairs.

Leslie knew it was her foster father; Senator Brock.

Senator Brock is one of the political bigwigs in the United States Politics.He is a foster father to Leslie and a biological father to Leona and Kelvin.He adopted Leslie since birth and treated her as one of his.Leslie also knew that she was adopted but never felt so,her older siblings; Leona and Kelvin treated her like their precious little sister.

"I just want to tell you that you should be ready to go to the Academy tomorrow with your sister", Senator Brock said

"Okay, Dad.Am going to tell my sister", Leslie replied and left.Senatoe Brock looked at her and smiled

"What a lovely girl",he said and went back to reading his magazine

TWO DAYS LATER

DRAXTON ACADEMY

Students have been allocated rooms.Each room has four students.

On the way to class,a boy is intersected by 2 other boys.

"Kraken wants to see you", one of the boys said whom the attacked boy immediately knew to be a vampire due to the Daylight Ring he was wearing.

"What!!Why.Wait who is Kraken?",the cornered boy snapped back, surprising his attackers

"How dare you...", the other attacker said about to slap the cornered boy when he got interrupted.

"Hey dude,stop that"

"Who are you?",the attacker asked angrily

"Your nemesis",the voice boomed scaring the shit out of the attackers as they scrambled away out of fear.

A tall boy came out of the corner.

"Thanks for the save",the cornered boy said

"Oh that was nothing", the saviour said "What's your name?"

"My name is Luan and you're?", Luan asked

"Jacque"Jacque answered as they ran to class since they were already late
