The hunger was overwhelming. It wasn't the kind of hunger Simon had known before — the gnawing, deep need for food that could be soothed with a simple meal.

No, this hunger was something far darker, more insidious. It clawed at him from the inside out, dragging his mind into chaos.

It was like his body was being starved, even though he had just eaten a pack of potato chips.

It was an insatiable need that could never truly be satisfied, no matter what he did. Unless… he took blood.

His stomach twisted painfully as the overwhelming craving coursed through him. The world around him felt blurry, distant, like he was watching everything through a fog.

His vision was clouded, his thoughts scrambled as his body screamed for blood.

'Just a little bit,' his mind whispered, 'just enough to make the ache go away.'

But he knew better. It was more than just a taste. It was an urge that could consume him entirely.
