Chapter 8: The Aftermath
The days following the election were tumultuous. The violence and bloodshed had left many Nigerians shaken. Peter's supporters were outraged, demanding justice for the innocent lives lost.
Aisha continued to broadcast the truth about Wike's betrayal and the APC's violence on social media and news outlets. The people were listening, and soon, the hashtag #JusticeForNigeria was trending worldwide.
Peter, still reeling from the violence, vowed to ensure that those responsible would be held accountable. He met with the international community, pleading for their intervention and support.
"We need your help to bring peace and stability to our country," Peter said, his voice filled with emotion. "We cannot do this alone."
The international community responded, condemning the violence and calling for calm. The United Nations issued a statement, urging the Nigerian government to investigate the violence and hold those responsible accountable.
As the pressure mounted, the APC began to crumble. Tinubu and Wike went into hiding, fearing for their lives.
But Peter's supporters would not rest until justice was served. They continued to protest, demanding that Tinubu and Wike be brought to justice.
And then, just as it seemed like the situation couldn't get any worse, a shocking revelation emerged. Wike, it turned out, had been secretly working with Tinubu all along, manipulating the election to ensure the APC's victory.
The people were outraged. They demanded that Wike and Tinubu be arrested and charged with treason.
Peter, still grieving the loss of innocent lives, vowed to ensure that justice would be served.
"We will not forget the lives lost," Peter said, his voice firm and resolute. "We will not forget the betrayal. We will fight for justice, no matter the cost."
And with that, the battle for justice began.
