Fuck! I'm late, the call from my phone woke me up as I dashed out of bed trying to find my phone then I saw a light coming from under the bed
"Molly, where the hell are you?!"
I couldn't pay attention to what she was saying as I tried to pick out my clothes
"I seriously can't believe you're late on your first day at work "
"I'll be right over "
I cut the call and quickly tried to book a cab, I finally putting on my suit but it felt like I was forgetting something.. shit! I ran straight to the bathroom and hastily brushed my teeth and hair and went downstairs unfortunately my cab isn't here yet so I called out to a taxi and quickly rushed in
"Amazon hub counter, please be quick about it"
"Okay ma'am"
I seriously wished the car could move any faster but that would be over speeding, I couldn't help but exhale deeply and try to calm down when the car suddenly began to slow down
"Why are you slowing down? Can't you see I'm in a hurry " I was already pissed off
"I'm sorry but there's a traffic jam up ahead and I don't want to go too fast, please be patient "
I couldn't wait anymore, I was thirty minutes late as I hurriedly gave him his money and left the taxi and tried to make my way there, it wasn't far from where i was
As I rushed to the door and entered, I made such a loud noise that redirected everyone's gaze to me as I timidly made my way to the reception and asked directions to my office and took the keys
I walked speedily trying to get there before the boss sees me then suddenly I collided with someone knocking off his file. I was already terrified as I looked up, it's was the CEO's son, Ethan
He was tall, about 6'3, has broad shoulders and pale skin but wore a frown on his face. Damn I was in trouble
I quickly went down begging him and picking up his stuffs then I suddenly heard his voice, it sent chills down my spine
"Are you new here?"
"Y-yes, I am" my voice kept breaking up as I quietly rose up still facing the floor
"You're late"
"I'm sorry, I-it won't happen again, I promise" I was already terrified out of my mind
"I'm sure it won't, as punishment you'll be working the entire night, I'm sure you won't have a problem with that, I want to see you working your ass off"
He said as he slowly took his file from my hands and left
Ahh! I was so annoyed right now, it's not fair.. I'm only forty minutes late, why do I have to work the whole night as I dashed into my chair, there was a full paperwork on my table, how the hell am I going to get all these done in just one day then suddenly my friend, Courtney interrupted my thoughts
"Finally you're here, how did you get in without being spotted"
"Actually I bumped into Mr Ethan"
"Ohh, did you get into trouble with him "
"I'm gonna work the whole night "
"Wow! You're lucky get fired immediately, I thought the lightest punishment was deduction from your pay check cheque but it seems I was wrong "
I couldn't waste anymore time, I swiftly went through the paperwork and began, I wanted to have a reason to not work the whole night as time went by quickly.
Courtney suddenly walked up and bid my goodbye, then I looked around and noticed alot of people has left already and it was cloudy.. seems it was going to rain as I checked the time on my phone, my body felt sore as I cracked my neck and knuckles, i was done with what I had to do as i happily made my way Mr Ethan's office
Then I knocked lightly on the door but didn't get a response then again but this time, harder then got a response to come in as I slowly turned the door knob, my heart was beating so hard i felt like it was gonna make it's way out of my chest then i took a deep breath and tried to shake it off and went in

I couldn't stop stammering, I could barely even hear myself, I don't think he noticed I was in the office 'cause he had his head buried in his computer
"Sir! Um i-im done with my work and was wondering...
"If you're done then come help me out with some of my work" he cut me short, go downstairs to the basement and get me Mr Bill's file, ask someone maybe they could direct you there. He said still looking down
I walked sluggishly to the elevator and went to the basement, I was already exhausted as the elevator door opened and I walked out turning on the lights there were so many files and I couldn't see properly 'cause it was kinda dark then the lights began to shudder
"Must be from the storm outside"
I then took a stool and tried to fix it when suddenly I saw a bright light, it hit me so hard that I flew and hit my head against the wall, I couldn't move nor hear anything but felt blood flowing down to head as I couldn't help as my eyes shut close
