The day before their departure, Princess Zhu asked if she could go with them and he agreed. Mo Chao had done his work perfectly, he had prepared everything that they were gonna need for their trip. It was like he was born to be a servant or had been reading a book titled 'How To Be An Excellent Servant' even Lu Zhen was taken aback by his capabilities.
It was soon time to depart, they didn't need anyone to see them off. A huge luxurious golden carriage was waiting for them, it had a huge bed inside, comfortable chairs and a tea table. Beautiful red curtains and light stones were set up. Lu Zhen threw a thumbs up for Mo Chao. Mo Chao was also going to be the coachman. Four normal white horses would be pulling the carriage. They quickly left the kingdom.
It was smooth sailing for the first few days, they didn't encounter any problems and there were small rivers that Princess Zhu used to keep herself clean. It was on the fifth day that trouble came knocking on their door. A large group of bulky men blocked the road. "I am Huo Dong, leader of the Mountain Apes bandit group. You have to pay a toll fee to pass." He said. "I am the First Prince of the Sky Sovereign Kingdom, can you give us face and let us pass." calmly said Mo Chao. The Sky Sovereign kingdom had some reputation in the outside world.
"Sky Sovereign Kingdom? So you're from the Sky Sovereign Kingdom. How about paying us two gold coins? " Mo Chao didn't refuse and chose to pay the toll. Lu Zhen didn't say anything and watched everything play out.
Although they were strong, they were nothing in front of Lu Zhen's group. Mo Chao was in the Human Realm while Huo Dong in the Seventh Stage of the Earth Realm. Mo Chao had suppressed his cultivation to the Ninth Stage of Earth Realm, this is why Huo Dong wasn't afraid of him, they could easily overwhelm him with numbers.
"The Princes don't usually go out and it's quite a sight to see the First Prince who's rumoured to be the Crown Prince being a coachman. Hahaha. And I'm sure the guest inside is accompanied by one of the Princesses." said Huo Dong as he looked at the fancy carriage. "Won't you allow us to feast our eyes on her beauty." This bandit was somewhat smart.
"You're going too far!" icily said Mo Chao. "And what if I am?! You can't fight us all with your cultivation level."
" You dar..." before Mo Chao could continue, the window opened and a hand gestured for him to stop. Then, exactly fifty pitch black palm sized mosquitoes flew out of the window, they were led by a plate size red mosquito. The mosquitoes didn't emit any aura or pressure but the bandits' bodies stiffened, even Mo Chao was slightly taken aback. "Finish them off quickly." A cold voice rang out from within the carriage.
Bzzzz, bzzz,bzzz…
Buzzing sounds rang out like there was a hoard of bees and the mosquitoes attacked.
One of the men watched as the large mosquito sat on his arm and sucked his blood. He was wondering what a mere mosquito could do.He wanted to know what was so special about these mosquitoes but he later regretted his decision as fear filled his heart.
The mosquito had sat on his arm and bit him, he then laughed his ass off, "I'm so scared, the mosquito is gonna suck me dry, hahaha!"
Everyone looked at him with strange gazes as they watched him laugh like a maniac. Seeing their gaze, he looked at his arm and to his horror, it was literally sucked dry. He screamed in terror as the mosquito approached and before he could attack it, it was already standing on his neck and without further ado, he was sucked dry, even his soul wasn't spared.
Everyone was horrified by these events and before they could escape, mosquitoes were already chasing after them, some tried killing the mosquitoes but reality was cruel. The bodies of these mosquitoes were so strong that they couldn't even believe that these were mosquitoes.
A "Ting" sound would ring out after they attacked. It didn't take long for the bandits to be annihilated. "Mercy...have mercy Sire!" Hou Dong pleaded for mercy. "Defeat her and your life will be spared." A voice sounded out again. Lu Zhen pointed to Queen as he called back the rest of the mosquitoes.
Huo Dong looked at the blood red mosquito that was larger than the rest. 'I'm sure I can defeat it if I give it my all right? I mean how strong can a mosquito be?' he thought to himself. He then shook his head and prepared for battle but as he looked around, he couldn't see the mosquito. He then felt a slight pain from his attack and from there, he knew his life was forfeit. "Fuck..." is all he could say before he died.
"Let's go."
Mo Chao, who was dazed, returned to reality and continued with the journey. There were many thoughts running through his head as he guided the horses, 'What the hell were those mosquitoes? Were there such terrifying mosquitoes in the world and if so, how did Master tame them?' These were the thoughts running through his head.
It was quite boring inside the carriage as Princess Zhu and Lu Zhen didn't interact much. She was still a bit frightened of Lu Zhen so it was hard for them to talk.
…
Two weeks later, they arrived in a beautiful city, it wasn't as bustling as Mo Chao described it to be, there were a lot of carriages waiting to enter. Once they paid their fee for entering, a long queue stood in front of them, there was an Array formation in the middle of the city and it was guarded by Human Realm experts.
This Array was the one they were going to use to reach the Holy City. After hours of waiting, it was finally their turn. They paid ten gold pieces to use it, the ground lit with a golden hue and before they knew it, they were inside a large city, there were all types of stalls selling a variety of goods. Behind them were large walls with a huge board written Holy City.
Guards stood in front of their carriage and they had to pay again. Mo Chao took their carriage to a place where they took care of them and they leisurely walked around the city. Princess Zhu had a veil that hid her beauty but one could still see just how beautiful she was even though she covered herself.
This place was also rich in Spirit Qi and experts were as numerous as ants.
