Xiaojian was given a sheathed sword and the chairs around the Main Hall were cleared to create more room. Both Elder Wang and Xiaojian stood facing each other.
Please!
Elder Wang assumed his fighting stance while Xiaojian just nervously stood there. Xiaojian was chosen at a very young age to serve Lu Zhen. He was his personal servant that was taught everything required of servants so it was not surprising that he didn't know what to do. He had also never held a sword in his life.
Shing!
Both parties unsheathed their swords but something unimaginable happened. Something about Xiaojian changed, his gaze became sharper and his expression calm, his aura was deep as the vast ocean and was unfathomable. He also exuded a tint of danger and was full of arrogance.
Elder Wang became nervous when he saw just how different Xiaojian looked. In his eyes, Xiaojian was like a sharp sword ready to cut him in two and he couldn't help but sweat bullets yet again. These changes didn't just surprise Elder Wang but everyone present except of course Lu Zhen.
'How can someone change so much with just unsheathing a sword?' is what was on everyone's mind. "Young Master, how do I punish Elder Wang?" said Xiaojian with a grin on his face. He was no longer timid and weak looking. It wasn't just his physical appearance and aura that changed, his demeanour also changed.
He was the pure definition of arrogance, in fact, all sword cultivators were arrogant to the core, the higher the cultivation level, the more arrogant one was. Just like how Lu Zhen had previously called Jin Ha's spear a mere stick. "BEAT HIM TO A PULP!" suddenly replied Lu Zhen with a huge grin on his face. Hearing these words, Elder Wang felt like crying. "As you wish, Young Master!"
Begin!
One of the elders announced the start of the battle and immediately after saying so, Xiaojian disappeared from where he was and appeared in front of Elder Wang and attacked. Elder Wang was startled for a moment before blocking Xiaojian's attack. "How was my greeting to Elder Wang?" asked Xiaojian. Elder Wang only looked at him for a brief moment before attacking.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Xiaojian and Elder Wang exchanged blows, their movements were so fast that an ordinary person wouldn't see anything. Xiaojian diagonally slashed at Elder Wang who in return blocked with all his might. Xiaojian then executed a spinning kick that landed squarely on Elder Wang's face, sending him flying. Before Elder Wang could stabilise himself, Xiaojian was already behind him and sent him flying again.
Xiaojian's moves were elegant and refined as if he'd trained in the sword for years. Elder Wang felt himself becoming dizzy as his appearance was laughable. He then felt a sharp pain on one of his buttocks. Xiaojian had used the flat side of the sword and whacked him with it.
Elder Wang stood on his toes as he felt immense pain. Elder Wang didn't fortify his body with Spiritual Qi so the pain was real.
Xiaojian then moved his middle and index finger all over the sword and something astounding happened. The sword became wobbly and long and became rope like. "It's time for your punishment, Elder Wang." Everyone was surprised by Xiaojian's technique. Changing the shape of the sword in mere seconds and stretching metal was simply unheard of.
Pa! Pa! Pa!
The rope-like sword struck Elder Wang at lightning speed. Xiaojian had changed the sword's shape to that of a whip as he whooped his ass. This was one of the abilities that Sword Constitution holders had called 'Myriad Swords Transformation' This ability enables him to change the sword's shape depending on the situation but it sometimes has consequences.
The Sword Dao Heart might be affected since there's no absolute trust in the sword and there's the use of a different weapon which further affects the Dao Heart. That's why Sword cultivators rarely use this ability and as for why they were bestowed this ability, no one knew exactly why, some speculated that there is an underlying power contained within this ability while others say it is bestowed by the Heavens to hinder their cultivation paths.
Elder Wang was whooped to a pulp that he was begging for mercy.
"Stop! Since all the elders are here, let's chat." said Lu Zhen nonchalantly. Xiaojian stopped after being ordered and as he sheathed the sword, he reverted to his previous self, timid and weak.
…
Twenty or so elders filled the Main Hall, the Patriarch sat in his chair and Lu Zhen stood in front of everyone and calmly looked at them. "I want this branch family to become the Main family of the Lu and I want it to stand at the peak of this world." he calmly stated his goals.
Even though his words sounded like a joke, no one dared to laugh as they knew that he was dead serious. Even though Lu Zhen had changed a lot, they all knew one thing about him, 'HE NEVER JOKES AROUND.' "So how do you plan on doing that Lu Zhen? The other families won't idly sit by and watch us as we grow, especially the Ha family. Both the Main and branch families are at odds with each other." said one of the elders.
"HAHAHA. So you're worried about that. It's pretty simple, we'll simply squash those insects. Ants cannot compete with giants." said Lu Zhen. The elders and his uncle were dumbfounded by his words, these powerhouses for families were just referred to as ants by a junior who was weak and insignificant.
"How do you plan on taking over the world then?" suddenly asked the Patriarch.
"Don't worry Patriarch, there's one thing that you have to do for us to stand at the peak of this world. SUBMIT TO ME!" Lu Zhen's words resounded in everyone's ears including the Patriarch.
'Submit to you?' The elders looked at Lu Zhen as if they were looking at a crazy person. How could they submit to such a person?
"That's right. SUBMIT TO ME!" Lu Zhen said with a calm face that had a smug look on it.
