Chapter 7 - 007- Time to make it big

January 2nd 2007

........

MC'S pov

Time passed and soon it was the 2nd of January. Stock prices were fluctuating wildly. The price of the Alleyway Health Sciences stock had risen to $12.52.

My calls, all filled within three days, had already risen to $5.82.

Early that morning, my mind was so occupied, I was done with high school and there was no way I was going to waste another 4years in a university and that'll probably get me nowhere.

I am probably going to have to have a serious conversation with Scholes very soon.

I was so perplexed wondering which business line I should venture into. After selling my stocks in the evening I'd probably have a little bit less than two million in my account as tomorrow is the deadline day for the system mission that was given to me.

After thinking about it I realized that a little over 1million pounds which would remain after tax deduction wouldn't actually be enough for me to really build up a decent organization and so I pushed the thoughts out of my mind.

I checked my account, and what I saw was a total balance of over $2,000,000.

This was because it reflected the worth of the calls, not actual liquid cash.

"What should I do next" I thought

After thinking for a while, I realized I'd still stick with trading some stocks for a while but I needed a short-term deal that would yield a larger amount of profits.

And then I picked up a paper and a pen and I started strategizing and analyzing what my next stop in the market would be, making sure to pay attention to the very basics of the plan I was formulating while trying my best to remember certain stocks that would fit into my plans.

It was a very risky plan but thanksfully my knowledge of the future has literally made it 100% certain that this plan would succeed.

"Time to make it big" I thought

"Wait a minute I think I need to change into a new brokerage account" I thought not like I ever doubted Scholes but I knew all my movements henceforth would be huge strides and I knew I had to go incognito.

After fumbling for a while I managed to open a new account on Ameritrade, they were more lax as regards the age issue.

And then I opened my Etrading account, I started converting all my shares into money.

Then I got to work since I knew the stocks I was go to buy already

I was going to purchase massive amount of stocks on Net ease but not enough to make me an actual shareholder since that would require alot of formalities which he wasn't old enough for and wasn't even prepared for.

NetEase was an American game studio and service provider that, back in 2001, faced accusations of being a scam after failing to file their quarterly financial reports.

However, they came back to the market, and in a few days, they would report a 200% increase in earnings.

Now, if you asked anyone to explain the reason for the astronomical rise of the stock that's to come, it would be like asking a kangaroo to solve calculus equations while juggling chainsaws.

Fundamentals didn't matter for stocks that small.

What mattered was the demand.

NetEase will release their new MMORPG, Westward Journey, at the end of August.

It will become immensely popular and investors will kill to get their hands on a few shares of the company.

By the end of the year, this stock will have climbed Mount Everest, gaining over 2000%.

But there was no way I was going to limit myself to being the climber scaling the mountain.

No.

I wouldn't be the climber.

I will be the one waiting at the summit, the peak.

I will be the one taking all the praise for their hard work, raking at their hands till they fall and scraping every last bit of their profit for myself.

I stretched my fingers in front of me and went to work.

I needed to approach this like the transmigrator that I was.

Buying far-out-of-the-money calls in large quantities could be time-consuming due to the current interest in the stock being very low.

Worse yet, going all-in at once could attract suspicion and irrational short sellers, potentially keeping the stock down regardless of its potential.

I needed to act slowly.

I began carefully examining the available call options with end-of-month expirations.

I decided to purchase 102,000 call options for the stock to reach $10 before year-end, priced at $0.16 per option, and 221,000 call options for the stock to reach $12 before year-end, priced at $0.10 per option.

While it seemed like a substantial amount, the total cost was only $300,820, with a fee of 706.50 for opening the positions.

I wasn't able to use margin for option purchases, leaving me with alot of money left in buying power.

I set aside $200,000 in cash and over the next week, leveraging $1,556,147 of buying power, I purchased 543,851 shares of NetEase at an average price of $1.28 per share.

The reason for spreading out the purchases over a week was the fact that I was starting to have an influence on the market.

With such a substantial acquisition, buying all at once would cause an unnecessary surge in the stock price.

The final part of my plan was to gradually sell some of the shares during March and April and exchange them for more options.

I wanted to avoid getting accused of market manipulation.

I wanted them to think, "He could not have messed with the stock if all he did was sell shares." I thought with an almost evil smirk on my face.

A week later

......

It had been a week, and only a quarter of my calls had been filled, but I anticipated higher volume later in the month to build an even stronger position.

With that done, I closed the brokerage account.

And not long after I got a call, I picked up kind of expecting the caller already.

"Hello Mr Martens " I'm stephen calling from the Barclay's bank.

"We would like to Inquire if you have a plan for the funds that you deposited with us and if you would like to try the investment options we provide" the male voice said from the other side of the phone.

"Mr Stephen I would have loved to but I manage and invest my funds privately but I would consider your options should there be an occasion where you help is needed" I said in a firmly formal tone.

" Okay, have a nice day Mr Martens we would be glad to help should you ever need our assistance" Mr Stephen said

" Have a very nice day Mr Stephen" I said in a slightly cordial tone to make him feel like I had a bit of a good impression of him.

"Bunch of wolves acting like sheeps" I muttered, I knew those suckers where only looking for a means to milk me dry.

"Whatever" I muttered

I knew it was going to be uphill from here on and I really need to be tough.

"Santy" I called out to this introvert buddy of mine

Show me the rewards for my mission completion and my new mission I said.

" Yes Martens" Santy replied.
