Chapter 1 - **Chapter 1 - Alex's Death**

**Chapter 1 - Alex's Death**

Alex Ribeiro, an ardent fan of *Supernatural*, spent his nights watching episodes of the monster hunters, Dean and Sam Winchester. For as long as he could remember, he always felt that real life was monotonous and boring, compared to the incredible adventures of the brothers. When the last episode of the series aired, Alex felt a strange feeling of emptiness. He didn't understand it, but something inside him told him that this would be the end of an era.

That night, while walking home after another long day of work, a tragic event happened. Alex was crossing the street distractedly, immersed in his thoughts about what would have happened if he could live in the universe of *Supernatural*, when an out-of-control car suddenly appeared, running him over mercilessly.

When Alex opened his eyes, he was no longer in his world. The sky seemed like a dark, pulsating mass, full of lightning that illuminated the darkness. He was in a dark, endless place, where the echoes of incessant screams and murmurs permeated the air. The pain in his body no longer bothered him, but the feeling of being lost and out of place was overwhelming. He tried to get up, but his hands began to wrap themselves in something viscous and warm, as if he were sinking into the earth. A tingling sensation ran across his skin, and a hissing voice echoed in his mind. "You are dead, human." The voice was strange, but familiar. Alex looked around and saw a shadowy figure, with glowing red eyes, emerging from the shadows. The being seemed neither human nor demonic, but something in between. It was a figure he knew all too well, but in an entirely different context. A demon. "Who... who are you?" Alex asked, trying to understand what was happening. "I am Malgorath, a low-level demon," the being replied, with a low, cruel laugh. "You were brought to this place, not by chance. Hell is now your home." Alex felt a shiver run down his spine. "But... but I'm a fan of *Supernatural*. How... did I die? That's not possible! I'm not a character in the series!" "It doesn't matter. What matters now is what you've become," Malgorath said, with an evil smile. "You're no longer human, Alex Ribeiro. Now, you're a low-level demon, a lost soul who serves the most powerful. Hell is now your playground." Desperately, Alex tried to remember everything he knew about Hell, about demons, and about the Winchesters. But somehow, he felt that everything he thought he knew was far from reality. He was no longer an observer. He was now part of this dark world. Malgorath approached and placed his hand on Alex's shoulder. "Your mission begins now. As a low-level demon, you will do whatever it takes to survive until you can rise through the ranks of Hell... or succumb to the darkness." Alex took a deep breath, feeling the darkness closing in around him. He didn't know how to get out of there, but something inside him screamed for revenge. He wasn't willing to accept being just another puppet of Hell. Maybe, somehow, there was still a chance to fight. He just had to figure out how. And suddenly, in the middle of everything, an idea popped into his mind: *What if, just like the Winchesters, he could become a hunter too, but in Hell?* This was his new reality. The game was just beginning.
