Mao Zimiao rapidly pounced toward the Demon Ape. Lightly planting a palm on its back, she quickly leaped to the side, dodging the creature's attack. The Demon Ape roared angrily, speeding up in hopes of catching the detestable Half-demon.
Both the long-armed and feline species rely on agility for survival. The speed of the Ghost-Faced Ape surpassed Mao Zimiao's, but once she deployed her movement technique, the flexibility of her steps outshone that of the Ghost-Faced Ape, leading to a stalemate.
At first, Mao Zimiao followed the Basic Martial Arts series taught by the Immortal Institute, employing punches and kicks. However, her movements soon included clawing actions that didn't belong in the basic series.
Such an attack was unsuitable for human fingers.
