The Ancestor Hall was located within the Inner City, right on the central axis of Di Hong City, opposite the highest part of the Imperial Palace, the Di Hong Palace.
As the spiritual symbol of the Xiahong Imperial Family, Di Hong Palace stood nine hundred and ninety-nine zhang high, while the main hall of the Ancestor Hall towered over a thousand zhang, surpassing Di Hong Palace by a line.
It was said that the Divine Emperor chose this location for Di Hong City because the Ancestor Hall was situated here.
To show respect to the Human Ancestor, the Di Hong Palace was not built higher than the Ancestor Hall.
