Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 The Abandoned Young Hidden Dragon

"Li Feng."

"Do you know me?"

"Of course, I know you. You've played nanny for my daughter for over a year." Qi Shaobin pulled out a stack of money and threw it directly at Li Feng through the window.

"This money is your compensation. Oh, right, I heard you've been unemployed since graduation. Here's my business card. If you want a job, take this to Sihai. I heard you're good at housekeeping, just what we need."

Qi Shaobin tossed a business card at Li Feng.

"Remember to come. I won't say more; Xue Xue is waiting for me. I heard she hasn't let you touch her since giving birth. She's eagerly waiting for me."

"See ya."

The Benz didn't drive straight away but reversed for over ten meters, revved the engine, splashing Li Feng with mud and water, and sped off.

"Heh, poor dumb hick, a toad dreaming to eat swan meat, not even weighing his own worth."

In the security room, the young guard looked out at Li Feng standing in the rain: "Damn, are my eyes playing tricks on me?"

"What's up?"

"Who's that, gone mad?"

A few guards quickly looked outside.

"He really has lost it. He's not thinking of suicide, is he?"

"Can't be sure. No good, you two come with me outside. We can't let anything happen at the entrance to our community, or we'll all be packing up and leaving."

"Damn it, picking such a lousy place to die."

Several guards rushed out of the security room with umbrellas. Before they could reach him, a convoy appeared on the road amidst the rain. Leading with the Benz, a ten-meter stretch limousine at the center, and five cars stopped directly in the middle of the road.

The car doors were flung open, a group of well-dressed strong men rushed out, and quickly lined up in two rows in front of Li Feng, letting the winter rain pour down on them.

"Young Master Feng."

"Find me a change of clothes, and spread the word, Li Feng is back; I'll be waiting at Outer Heaven."

"Yes, Young Master Feng."

Li Feng walked into the open car door, and as soon as the door closed, the suited strongmen silently got into the accompanying cars and disappeared into the rain.

"Isn't that Director Zhang of Wanhua? Even he came?"

"More than Wanhua, Old Wang. The Crown Prince's connections are deeper than we imagined. See those few over there? The big four kings of the money houses, they can mobilize a hundred billion in cash just like that."

"Wow, this is going to be huge!"

"The Young Master Feng is here."

Someone shouted, and the previously small groups quickly quieted down, automatically lining up on both sides in front of the main building, watching the stretch limousine come to a stop.

"Young Master Feng."

As Li Feng stepped up the stairs, every time he took a step, someone on either side would bow their head and respectfully call out "Young Master Feng", then follow closely behind in step.

"Gentlemen, go to the conference room and wait; Young Master Feng will meet with you all in a bit."

That 'in a bit' turned out to be half an hour.

These big shots, once high above others, were all silent as gold in the conference room, with nobody complaining or showing the slightest impatience.

The conference room door opened, and the many big shots looked up at Li Feng walking in. He was said to be the illegitimate son of the Li Family in Jin City. Ten years ago, when he was just sixteen, he came to Huacheng and single-handedly conquered this place.

Dressed in silk at night, the Hidden Dragon Crown Prince, this young master Jing Ran became a legend.

Li Feng walked straight to the head of the conference table and glanced around: "I won't say much unnecessary stuff. I'm giving you a chance to make money."

After hearing Li Feng's words, everyone's eyes lit up, and they straightened up in their seats.

"Sihai Group."

"Sihai."

"One of Huacheng's top ten groups, with assets breaking a hundred billion, owning Sihai Logistics, Sihai Real Estate, Sihai Trade, and more than a dozen other companies. Last year, Sihai's Chairman Qi Haomin ranked one hundred and twenty-third on the Hurun Rich List."

"Sihai, eh?"

Everyone swallowed, understanding the allure of Sihai's hundred billion in assets—a juicy morsel indeed. If they could take a bite, they would have quite the bounty.

Among those present were some who knew Qi Haomin of the Sihai Group. How had Sihai offended this great young master?

"With 58 days until the New Year, I want the Sihai Group not to make it through."

Li Feng swept his gaze over those present, leaving no room for negotiation, his words brimming with authority.

"Young Master Feng, whatever you say, we'll do. Old Wang here will follow your orders through and through, money or manpower, just give a shout."

Old Wang, like a Maitreya Buddha, readily patted his chest and made his stance clear.

"We'll do exactly as Young Master Feng commands."

Even those who were on good terms with Qi Haomin hesitated only momentarily. A co-sufferer in the Dao doesn't die for a poor Dao, the business world is a battlefield; you're out of luck, Sihai, for angering Young Master Feng.

"Since you've all agreed, don't let me find out anyone's been in contact with Sihai behind my back. If you think my blade isn't sharp enough, I don't mind adding another target to my list."

Li Feng swept his gaze over the big shots present.

"Meeting adjourned."

Li Feng's lips contorted into a cold sneer as he abruptly turned and walked away.

"That's still the Young Master Feng we know."

"Yeah, haven't seen him in two years, but he's still as sharp as ever. Though, I like it, haha, I can hardly wait to see Sihai get chopped up into pieces."

"The Qi Family has been flying high lately. Heard they bought a big chunk of land at Wanlong Pond, borrowing three hundred billion from the bank just for that."

"The Qi Family is done for."

Several big shots who were friendly with the Qi Family thought to themselves, not knowing how the Qi Family had offended the Crown Prince but aware that those targeted by Young Master Feng tended to have only one fate.

A sleepless night.

Li Feng was woken up early by his phone's vibration. He glanced at the caller ID.

Wife.

He answered.

"Li Feng, meet me at the divorce office's entrance at ten. Ah, don't make a fuss."

"Got it."

Li Feng listened to Zhang Xue's coy complaint, knowing very well that Qi Shaobin was right beside her. After hanging up, he had foreseen this outcome, yet anger flared up inside him.

"What did he say?" Qi Shaobin asked.

"Why, are you jealous of that loser?"

Qi Shaobin snorted coldly: "Yeah, I am. Just thinking about such trash makes me want to kill him."

His face darkened like still water. Feeling his change in demeanor, Zhang Xue bit her lip: "It was only that one time, and it was not because of you."

"Not even once is alright."

Half-past ten.

Li Feng had been waiting at the entrance for over an hour when Zhang Xue finally arrived, fashionably late, but her face couldn't hide her jadedness.

"What are you looking at?"

Zhang Xue sneered coldly at him and raised her hand to push Li Feng, who was in her way.
