"Caiyu, I'm back."
Shen Mochen pushed open the door of Yuncui's house and, knowing his way, took off his shoes to slip on slippers.
"Dinner's not ready yet, you'll have to wait a bit."
Yuncui was busy in the kitchen, the chopping knife going 'clack clack' on the cutting board.
"That's alright, I'm not in a hurry."
Shen Mochen shook his head, thinking to himself that she usually came home early if she didn't have afternoon classes. Today was her day off from classes, so why hadn't she started cooking yet? Was something holding her up?
"Sorry, since I didn't have classes from the morning, I went to the station today and came back a bit late."
Yuncui seemed to sense what Shen Mochen was thinking and explained with a laugh.
Shen Mochen paused, "The station... the Buque station where you used to stay? You can go back even after retiring?"
