As Cai Yuncui left, the room became filled with an awkward atmosphere.
Perhaps it was only Shen Mochen who felt awkward. He lay in bed, unsure how to act as a patient or how serious his condition was supposed to be at this moment.
He deeply regretted and cursed himself silently as a fool. He would have been better off at school. It would have just been wandering around for a while, and there would have been several people around, after which he could have easily made an excuse to slip away!
It wouldn't have been as bad as now.
"Do you want some water, Shen? I'll go get you some."

Shen Mochen replied.
Liu Chaoyan gave a slight smile, stood up, and walked out of the bedroom. Shen Mochen sighed with relief, but she soon returned with a glass of water. Holding it in both hands, she offered it to him.
