Yang Ming's smile froze immediately.
That was exactly the point.
"And then?" Kolev pressed on.
Yang Ming shrugged, "The three examiners gave me some benefits and sent me on my way."
"I'm asking, how far did you actually get!"
"Guess?" Yang Ming teased, continuing his explanation, "To proceed to the second phase of the assessment, or rather, to truly inherit the legacy of this civilization, I must meet the most basic condition."
Kolev muttered, "The foundation of civilization is a habitable planet."
