"I'm telling you," Xiao Yi said, unable to hold back after listening to the chef, "your way of thinking is too outdated. A child isn't just an extension of one's own life, and you have no right to decide a child's life."

"What do you know?" the chef glared at Xiao Yi, "In this lifetime, I have nothing else but this one daughter... Forget it, you wouldn't understand. You might as well get out now, there's nothing here for you."

"...Alright."

Xiao Yi didn't want to say anything more and immediately headed for the doorway.

But, just as he was about to reach the door, Xiao Yi seemed to suddenly remember something, and he asked the chef:

"Oh, there's one more thing I forgot to ask you."

"There's more?" the chef said with some impatience.

"You said there's not much food around here, right?" Xiao Yi asked, puzzled, "Then why not just use those wild beasts that fell from the sky? Aren't they all gifts from nature?"
