Watching his men begin to unload the cargo, Poli's face lit up with a lot more smiles. He walked over to a crate of alcohol, opened the box, and took out a bottle.
"Brandy?" he glanced at Jimmy, who was directing the unloading, and Jimmy nodded.
"It's all brandy and wine, with some whiskey, but not much."
Poli's eyebrows knitted slightly in concern. Brandy and wine were more favored in the mid to high-end consumer market, but the bars under his control did not cater to such upscale clientele.
In other words, the patrons at his bars were all bloody paupers, only able to afford the twenty-five cents a glass for bottom-shelf whiskey, not the more expensive brandy and wine.
Especially these wines, who would drink them at a bar?
Maybe some, but at least not in Poli's own bars. He had been quite happy, but suddenly seeing this cargo made him feel less so.
