The first sensation Xu Jin felt upon awakening was pain.
It was as if his entire body, from the inside out, had been ground to pieces by a roller.
His first thought was to curse someone.
He wanted to curse Mountain Master Dong Zhao.
Was this the "little bit of pain" he mentioned?
Even though he was warned that it would feel like a myriad of ants gnawing at his heart, Xu Jin had been misled by the Mountain Master's words.

It was then Xu Jin realized that he seemed to be sleeping on Ning Yuchan's bed, inside her room.
