Bodyguard shifts were actually pretty boring—unless the company had some mission; most of the time was spent resting in the Bodyguard Room, or like those guys, going to the ring when there was nothing to do to practice combat skills, or squatting in a corner bragging and farting around. Ye Chen wasn't that idle. He glanced to the left and right and walked straight from the hallway into the Security Room. Relatively speaking, the people in the Security Room were decidedly quieter than those in the Bodyguard Room. They had long been oppressed by the bodyguards, but the bodyguards had a higher status than the security guards, so even if they were bullied, they could only endure it. Who would dare oppose those towering figures, especially since they were ex-military bodyguards?
The security guards in the Security Room were huddled together, seemingly discussing something. When they saw Ye Chen walk in, they all fell silent one by one.
