Rowan POV:
The werebear realizing it wouldn't walk out of this fight without more significant wounds retreated deep into the forest in the same direction that it came from. I shift back into my human form and crouch down to inspect the girl. Liam stood guard in his wolf form to ensure the werebear didn't come back as Jackson whimpered at my side. This girl, whoever she is, has been through hell and back yet she has this beauty to her that I can't understand. Mind linking Jackson and Liam I let them know I'm going to carry her back but they need to stay in wolf form incase the werebear or rogues attacked thinking we would be easy targets.
Running as fast as I could carrying her with Jackson and Liam flanking me we made it back into our borders. With any luck we would be at the pack hospital in 10 minutes. Mind linking the next patrol to heavy guard that border incase that werebear came back or rogues showed up.
Liam's POV:
Her breathing was almost non existent, I urged Rowan to run faster as her heartbeat was slowing down, we were losing her. Minutes pass by all of us running full speed trying to save her as she is on the brink of death. I mindlink Dr. Sanders letting her know that we were inbound with a young female and to have a surgical room prepped and ready to go in 2 minutes.
Dr. Sander's POV:
I received a mindlink from Liam, our Alpha to be, to have a room ready in 2 minutes. I start scurrying around making sure the operating room is prepped for whatever is about to come through those doors. Scrubbing up then turning my attention to my cart full of instruments like surgical thread, a needle to stitch up any wounds, IV saline, and provolone-iodine to sanitize any wound areas. My attention snaps as Liam, Jackson and Rowan carrying a petite girl bust through the doors, her heartbeat so faint I can barely detect it across the room as blood drips onto the floor. "Get her on the table and get out of here!" I yelled at them as nurses plow through the Emergency Room doors to assist me in trying to save this girls life.
