She was holding the chocolate as she stepped out of the store, and it was already very late. In the heart-shaped box nestled in her arms lay a full box of rose-colored flowers, which she very much liked.
He drove her home, parking the car beneath the Yulan Flower tree right at the doorstep. He gazed at her with pure eyes, "Won't you try one?"
She opened the box and first asked him, "Do you want one?"
"Hmm, give me one," he said.
She picked one out, intending to hand it over to him. However, he didn't take it from her hand but ate it directly from her fingers instead. His lips, wet and soft, brushed against her fingers…
She took a tissue, frowning as she wiped the moisture off her fingers.
He noticed this, his brows faintly furrowed as he asked her, "Are you going to eat?"
"I'll eat it when I get home." She held onto the tissue, planning to throw it in the trash can as soon as she got out of the car.
