She pondered for a moment, wondering if he was telling the truth or lying.
She leaned in closer, her eyes like glazed orbs lightly shimmering, "Back pain? You don't have kidney issues, do you?" After speaking, she nodded seriously, "I'm serious."
He stared at her, his expression even more serious, "That's something you should be asking yourself."
Holding her chopsticks and poised to pick up noodles, her hand froze. Facing the serious expression before her, she could only respond with heightened earnestness, pretending not to understand, "I'm a neurosurgery doctor, sir, you've come to the wrong department."
Then she lowered her head and dug into her noodles fiercely.
However, she was mistaken. This wasn't the time to be eating noodles, let alone so fiercely. She just heard him slowly say, "Every disease manifests with symptoms, so, how do you think I'm doing?"
