Author's POV

He woke up the next morning noticing his wife wasn't beside him any longer but something caught his eyes "DIVORCE PAPERS" he exclaimed checking the papers thoroughly to see if he guessed right "Arya... what's the meaning of all this it's" he asked waiting for a quick response,instead she walked out of the bathroom and sat on the bed "they are divorce papers honey,sign them" she replied softly.

Roberts was infuriated "and why should I sign them" he asked again,she smiled holding his chin "it's simple...I don't want this relationship anymore" she replied,he was surprised with her response "a relationship... Arya you call this a relationship,we have four kids for crying out loud" he said as he sat closer to her on the bed "besides it's Monday and I've got a lot of work on my table so why all this sudden paper...arrrgh I hate more paperwork" he muttered to himself.

Arya wore her clothes"actually I packed my bags yesterday,the kids have gone to school and now it's just me and you...sign the papers" she said again and he grew more furious "you would regret this" he said this with cold sweat on his forehead,he stared at her for some time then he took the pen to sign the papers "yeah... that's more like it,when the kids get back from school and they ask of me" she paused and brought out a prepared letter from her bag "just tell them i left them and i said they were all mistakes...and give this to Kyla" she handed him the letter and burst into laughter.

Finally he signed the papers which made her really happy,she kept the papers and dragged her bags outside "actually my mission is completed,I never liked you,loved you nor our kids. Thanks for the fifty billion dollars...cha cha" she waved as she entered her car and drove off,he was dumbstruck.

STAR HIGH SCHOOL ⭐ ✨

The kids already got to school,they were in different classes. Davis was the eldest,a seventeen year old boy who is in eleventh grade and he wants to be the next CEO of Roberts cosmetics, Tyler and Kyla the twins are the second,and they are fifteen years old in ninth grade,then the last was Chloe in the sixth grade.

They walked through the hallway as they entered the school premises "Kyla off to my dep." Tyler waved to his sister. Kyla was the direct opposite of her twin brother,she was cold, gentle but she cared about people more than herself,that was the only nice attribute she has and all her coldness was from her mother's hatred and torture,she was the one their mother hated the most.

"Kyla" Simeon and Jeff waved from afar running towards her "hey... we've got practicals for first period" they dragged her towards the lab. They entered the lab and grabbed their lab coats,Raphael had always stared at her during their class,he was kinda like her but she was more cold than he is and she had always beaten him academically too.

The teacher entered the class with a big glass cage "Good morning" miss Betty placed the glass cage on the table "today's practical will be natural,I have a crab of 24 years here and the vet said he'll die in two hours. So our task is to observe it till it dies" there was a loud murmur,she ringed a bell to make them keep quiet "get your notes and stop watches and let's observe" she clicked on her timer,the teacher left and they continue watching the crab, unfortunately for Kyla's friends they slept off cause it was boring but she was nice enough to help them write theirs.

Finally, the crab died and she finished the observations and decided to take a rest,while staring at the other's her eyes met with Raphael's and they stared at each other for some time till she eventually looked away "miss Betty the crab is dead" ASAP she entered the class and started to retrieve the scripts.

CAFETERIA

Tyler and his bestie Richard were having lunch "where is your sister I couldn't find her throughout the lesson" he asked, Richard smirked "she stained her clothes so she went to change" he replied. Richard, Raphael and Rachael were triplets and also friends to Tyler and his siblings,they also had an elder sister who had the eye for Davis, "I haven't seen your twin sister and my brother could it be that miss Betty took their time again" Richard asked but Tyler nodded waiting for his sister "she'll be back soon... it's just practicals"

Bianca was rushing towards the toilet through the hallway when she bumped into Davis "oh... sorry " she quickly packed his books that scattered out on the floor,he smiled at her and she smiled back "I'm sorry but i really need to go" she excused herself and ran towards the toilet,he couldn't help but laugh at her flustered red face.

Kyla reached the cafeteria and sat with her brother "where is my brother" he asked her and she nodded "I'm not sure where he went" she replied sipping his juice. It was the end of the term and beginning of summer too "Kyla opened her books and yelled as she found out Raphael was her partner" she frowned and kept the book.

Roberts residence

The kids arrived from school "dad we're home" Davis checked the time and thought if he was still at work "there was no response". Roberts walked down the stairs and Chloe waved to her dad and he carried her on his lap "you didn't go to work" he asked his father and he nodded in agreement "but it's unlike you cause it's obvious you are a workaholic" Tyler asked him and he nodded again, Roberts thought he didn't need to hide it anymore "you mom left anf before she left she said you all are mistakes" Chloe frowned and he tried calming her down but the room was filled with cold aura,he passed the letter to Kyla "she said i should give you this" she received the letter and read it quickly but after she read it she stormed out of the living room .

The others were wondering that what could make her feel that way, Tyler followed her to her room. Davis and Chloe sat with their dad "she isn't a good mother,she didn't love you not we her children all she wanted was money...right" he asked his father and he nodded feeling heartbroken.

Roberts cosmetics 💄 💅

The family was broken but the comp was worse "the company just loose fifty million dollars" kelvin said to the other's during a board meeting "we thank God this is a large enterprise and a very successful group or else we could have been affected deeply,we need to cover up for those funds before this month ends...do you understand" he said but the secretary opposed "why isn't the boss around to hold the board meeting" she asked "are yo here for the boss or to face your work" he asked her and she nodded leaving for her duty post. Later many suggestions were made concerning the lost funds "aren't we gonna find who stole it" another staff asked but there was a strict reply from kelvin " boss says no investigation" he left the hall.

Kyla's room

She sat on her bed sobbing profusely, Tyler also rushed in and jacked the letter from her after reading he tore it immediately "do you want to be mentally punished by her" he asked are but she didn't reply,she raised her head and pointed at the bath tub "she said she hated me the most and she had always wanted to kill me,the bath tub incident was real...she deliberately want to kill me that day" she buried her hands in her palms. Tyla could only console her at this junction,she might need a therapist later too.

She started to feel discomfort and hard to breath "arrrgh" she pushed Tyler away scattering her room "what are you looking for" he asked her but it didn't seem like she heard,soon she screamed. It was panic disorder she had this since she was a kid "oh no" Tyler said as he left the room to call his dad because only him knows where her pills were. She was still in her room like crazy.

He ran downstairs and called his dad "she is..crazy again,panic disorder" he didn't know how to explain but the panic disorder explained what was going on and they rushed to her room again,she was still in the same state and he hugged her tightly "it's okay... don't be scared" she bit him on his wrist, Davis passed the bottle to his dad and he pit the right dose in her mouth as she inhaled the scent she slept off. Nobody was happy about her sickness because it makes them remember what that bitch they call a mother did to them.

Nobody remembered it was summer,she was laid on her bed and they all left except Tyler he sat beside her watching her,they understood that he felt bad too. A call disturbed it was from Mrs Joey,the mother to the triplets and Bianca,he hesitantly picked the call "hello good afternoon" he said and a soft voice was heard from the other end "Mr Roberts... afternoon,I have a little thing to discuss with you" she replied eloquently "sure feel free to discuss anything with me" he said looking at the kids "i don't want my kids to go for summer camping and i noticed your kids aren't going too so I want my kids to stay at your place during the summer holidays,can they come" she asked,he paused at the other end for a while "sure...when are they coming" he asked and she was delighted by his reply "tomorrow morning..." He agreed with her
