Chapter 45 - Chapter 44 - After Class

Arthur, Morgan, Friya Ernas, Phloria Ernas, Quilla Ernas, and Yurial walked into Arthur and Morgan's room. The space was modest but cozy, with neatly organized furniture that reflected the siblings' disciplined lives.

Friya, a striking 15-year-old, had brown eyes that gleamed with curiosity and intelligence. Her black hair, streaked with vibrant blue and red highlights, framed her sharp features. Standing at 1.27 meters (4'2"), she had a slim but athletic build, her posture radiating confidence.

Phloria, at 14, had a gentle aura about her. Her blue eyes were bright and inquisitive, and her blonde hair shimmered in the light, cascading in soft waves around her face. She stood at 1.22 meters (4'0") and had a petite frame, her youthful energy evident in every move she made.

Quilla, the youngest at 12, was a bundle of energy and mischief. Her vivid blue eyes sparkled with a playful glint, and her red hair, streaked with fiery orange and yellow, gave her a bold and lively appearance. At 1.04 meters (3'5"), she was small but full of determination, her expressive features making her seem larger than life.

Yurial, a 15-year-old with a calm and composed demeanor, had deep black eyes that seemed to hold secrets. His brown hair, streaked with blue and yellow, gave him an understated yet unique look. At 1.22 meters (4'0"), his lean figure and quiet confidence added to his charm.

Arthur walked into the adjoining bathroom. "I'm grabbing a shower," he announced casually.

Morgan nodded. "Okay, I'll bring you a change of clothes," she said, moving toward the wardrobe with practiced ease.

As the sound of the shower turning on filled the room, Yurial raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Are you two dating or actually siblings?"

Morgan shot him a look, unbothered by the implication. "We're siblings, but we've been sharing the same bed for years," she replied matter-of-factly. She grabbed a set of clothes for Arthur and disappeared into the bathroom briefly before returning.

Friya frowned, her curiosity piqued. "Why?"

Morgan sighed, leaning against the doorframe. "Our oldest brother was disowned after he attacked Arthur while he was out doing chores for a neighbor who taught him how to hunt. Before that, he and I shared a room. We didn't have an extra bed, so we've always shared. It's just second nature to us now."

Quilla, ever inquisitive, tilted her head. "How do you share the room when it's meant to be imprinted only by one?"

The bathroom door opened, and Arthur stepped out, his long brown hair streaked with silver and black slicked back from the steam. His outfit, tailored perfectly to his lean but muscular frame, clung to him like a second skin. He exuded an air of quiet authority that commanded attention.

"It's quite simple," Arthur said, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "Resonance Magic."

Phloria's blue eyes widened in wonder. "What is Resonance Magic?"

Arthur's gaze softened as he explained, "It's a unique type of magic that my sister and I developed. It allows us to synchronize our energies, enabling us to share spaces, amplify each other's abilities, and even attune to environments in a way no one else can. So far, only we can use it."

The girls exchanged fascinated glances, each processing the revelation in their own way. Arthur and Morgan, meanwhile, exchanged a knowing look, their bond evident in their unspoken understanding.
