Alexander shot out furiously. "That's a lucky break. So unfair." After that, he could feel chills going down his spine as all the students were shooting daggers with their glares. None of the other students have even come close to their group.
Michael was so close to doing it but couldn't figure out how to get the photo run through the cores. " How did you manage to push the pho through the core." Yuki slowly demonstrated the spell again helping Michael figure it out. Eram was stuck on getting all of the cores made at the same time. Alexander had all of the cores made but managed to make the spells fall apart when he would lose focus.
"Ah, I did it too you guys," Alexander yelled after about 20 minutes of trying. The only people in the group by the end of the class who still hadn't completed the spell were Eram and Lila. They both felt down as the bell rang because they felt like they couldn't keep up.
Mr. Ferram left them a parting message as they left. " All of you are amazing at learning. You have all surpassed most records made without made without skills, and abilities. Eram and Lila. don't worry Don't much about spells as your core abilities are way more important to focus on."
Eram asked as they left. " what do you mean."
Mr. Ferram responded "Your core ability will use a lot of your pho so casting a spell in most cases will just waste your pho, same with Lila. The rest of the group their cores are more for assisting in combat and won't use up all of their pho. The only exception in special cases would be Alexander who is the Centerpiece. Anyways see everyone tomorrow don't be late to class."
The group left excited to see the next teacher Allen. They reached the class and sat down while they waited for the other students. They kept practicing their core abilities as they waited.
"Welcome back to Core theory. We are going to go over some more interesting stuff today as most of you should understand how pho works." Allen said as he entered the class.
" Soul-beings have cores just like you and I. But how do we grade them? Easy we have a library filled with almost every single different species of soul-being. We grade them based on strength, speed, intelligence, and their average soul grade.
For example, a Jitter Bouth which most everyone should have seen already has a D-grade. Keep in mind that soul_beasts' D-grade is the lowest score, while for humans F-grade is the lowest.
Now beasts get graded through a few factors such as their physical strength, Agility, and intelligence. Another thing we grade them on is how dangerous they are to humans. So we will use one of the most dangerous creatures to give you as an example.
A dragon is an SSS-grade threat. It would take a team of 5 Ss-grade humans to combat a single one. Now what makes a dragon so dangerous is one of their core abilities called dragon beam. As well as their mastery over spell casting makes them a threat to humans." The class looked amazed and interested in more.
A kid in the back of the class yelled out asking "Is there anything stronger than dragons?"
Allen spoke up. " Of course, for instance, you have hydras and phoenixes which have a threat level of X. Anything with an X grade means run for your life. The number of beings with an X grade that has been slain by humans can be counted on one hand." Allen took a second to breath
After Allen looked around at the students writing notes and continued " There is one species that's even more dangerous, Demons. Demons have no soul and no core so they can't die by normal means. They do have special abilities though.
You'll learn more about it next year so please be patient on that." Allen finished and went over to his desk and set down a few books he was holding.
" let's head to the library follow me."
After Allen said that all of the students got up and excitedly exchanged glances with one another. After they stepped out the door they walked down long corridors.
Eram looked around with amazement. The hallways were large enough to fit the bus in that he had taken to get to the capital and he thought that it was massive. Looking at all of the statues also bewildered him. He took a breath threw his nose enjoying the smell of roses in the air.
Alexander was also dumbstruck. Seeing everyone around him gawking at the statues he believed them to be gaudy and overbearing. He was tired of the long boring walks in silence. The echoes of the footsteps were making him want to take a nap but he didn't want to disappoint Lila so I forged on.
Allen was at the front of the group thinking back in his life choices and how he got there. He never really wanted to be a teacher but somehow got to this point of his life in. He was wondering how he was teaching in his 30's.
Allen is a scholar at heart and didn't know it. When he came through school he enjoyed learning more than exploring. He and his group went around but they were moving too fast for him to enjoy and study everything. After coming to that realization he left the group and spent about 20 years studying as much as he could on the contents away from man. They called the town's main contents away from human civilization Elysium and Avalon with the latter being the one more dangerous.
Allen of course stayed on the continent of Elysium. He studied everything he was interested in and returned. Upon his arrival back a young woman by the name of Shiela greeted him. Something was weird about her and her manner of speaking but she offered him an amazing opportunity.
He arrived at the school and met the principal who was the most amazing person he had ever met. Cedric fought him more than twice what he learned on his own in a matter of a few months. He even learned how to evolve from Cedric and how to kill demons.
As he was finishing his thoughts they arrived at the library. And had one final thought, 'Damn I hate studying.' He looked back at the students and said "Well, this is the library."
Eram was in shock as much as everybody else. The library was something beyond imagination. Eram literally could not see the end. The walls stood high enough to fit his old school in it. Books lined every bit of the walls. The smell of paper in the air was thick enough to mask everyone's body Oder.
Eram walked up to the front desk and asked a question. " How many books are in here."
The lady at the front one would assume was a clerk answered the young boy with a smile. " Don't worry about the number of books instead ask how much knowledge is in here, and the answer to that is everything. This is the largest library in the world, said to know anything you seek."
Eram looked back at the lady but before he could answer Yuki asked what he was thinking. "Well, how would you find anything in here."
The clerk answered back. " first of all I can tell you where all of the books related to this school are except for prized books. All of the books with secret, forbidden, or other powerful books you have to find yourself as part of a challenge." The clerk woman smiled remembering something. " there is one person who has read every book and here and his name is Cedric.
Michael looked back in shock and then thought about it for a second and realized it probably wasn't that hard for Cedric." So Allen what are we going to do in here."
Allen looked back for a second and calmly said "Have fun. Go look around to what's out there. If you have any questions come ask me or Sally here." He pointed at the clerk as he said, Sally.
Eram and the group walked through the halls as they tried to find something worth reading. As they walked, each group found a book to read, met back up in the sitting area, and started to study.
