Nia took a step forward, her glowing eyes meeting Raith's. "I'm not just a survivor, Raith. I'm part of the rift."
Raith's breath caught in his throat. "What are you saying?"
"The rift didn't just destroy my world—it created me," she admitted, her voice trembling. "I'm an anomaly, a product of its energy. I'm tied to it in ways I don't fully understand."
Juno's hands paused over the console as she processed Nia's words. "You're saying the rift made you? How is that possible?"
Nia's gaze shifted to the swirling void above them. "The rift doesn't just connect worlds. It merges them, creating something new from the pieces. That's what it wants—to merge all realities into one perfect existence. But to do that, it needs to erase everything else."
Raith's jaw tightened. "And you think you're the key to stopping it?"
"I don't just think," Nia said quietly. "I know. But I don't know if I'll survive the process. The rift wants to pull me back into itself, to use me to stabilize its core. If I let it, it'll win. If I fight it, I might destroy us all."
The ground shook violently, and the figure raised its hand, summoning the Harbingers. The sky darkened as the creatures poured through the rift, their violet eyes glowing with malice.
Raith turned to his team. "This is it. We stop the rift now, or everything ends."
Nia stepped closer to the rift, her form glowing brighter. "I can feel the core. I can weaken it, but I need you to hold off the Harbingers long enough for me to finish."
Raith grabbed her arm, his voice firm. "We'll protect you. Just do what you need to do."
