Just as she stepped out, her phone rang. It was Callie.
"Gloria Price! What are you doing?! You've been in there for twenty minutes, and nothing happened between you two?"
Gloria knew this piece of trash was spying on her!
A cold smile flashed across her face, and then she burst into tears, "Waaah!"
"Aunt Callie, I've been trying to seduce him, but he... he just won't take the bait. He even accused me of trying to scam him into marriage and threatened to call the cops on me."
Callie's voice was urgent, "Have you been drinking?"
"Yes! Both of us have!"
"Where are you now?"
"I'm at the door. He kicked me out and won't let me in."
Callie cursed, "Damn it! What went wrong?! Don't move, I'll be there soon to check things out!"
A sly glint flashed in Gloria Price's eyes. "Okay, hurry up."
After hanging up, Gloria was about to turn off her phone when she suddenly thought of her half-sister, Rachel.
Knowing Rachel well, Gloria was sure Rachel knew about her blind date with the old man today and was probably waiting to see her fail.
Well, today would be a double whammy!
She quickly dialed Rachel's number, panting as she spoke:
"Rachel, something's happened. The old man drugged me and is trying to assault me. Come quick... save me..."
Before finishing her sentence, she hung up abruptly, turned off her phone decisively, and waited for the drama to unfold.
Soon, Callie arrived in a hurry. She first pulled out her phone to call Gloria, but it was turned off. She cursed under her breath,
"Damn little brat, you can't do anything right!
Bang, bang, bang..."
She knocked on the door of room 1208.
As soon as the door opened, an older man lunged at her, trying to kiss her.
"Baby, I've missed you so much, mmm mmm mmm..."
"Ah!"
Callie screamed in fright and started to fight back. "President Miller, what are you doing?! Let go of me!"
The old man wasn't as tall as Callie, and he buried his face in her chest, kissing her like a pig rooting for cabbage.
"I've been dying to see you! Baby, I love you. Tonight, I'm going to make love to you all night long!"
He kissed her while tearing at her clothes, forcibly dragging Callie into the room.
"Mr. Miller, let go! Somebody help... help!"
Suddenly, a large group of people appeared at the end of the hallway.
Hailey, wearing a sexy short skirt and high heels, strutted at the front, arrogantly addressing the crowd of reporters behind her.
"Make sure you get good shots of her face!"
"Don't worry, Miss Price. This time, we'll ruin her reputation for good!"
The door to room 1208 was kicked open, and Hailey was the first to rush in.
"You little tramp! How dare you sell yourself behind our backs? Have we, the Price Family, ever let you go hungry or thirsty? You little... Ah! Mom! Why is it you? Where's that little tramp, Gloria Price?!"
Reporters: "Oh my gosh! It's Madam Price!"
"The most beautiful designer, Ms. Callie, is having an affair with a man in his sixties?
Unbelievable! Does Master Price have some kind of hidden illness?"
"This is explosive news! Quick, take pictures, take pictures!"
Old Man: "Darling, your skin is so smooth. I really like it, mmhmm..."
Callie: "Stop taking pictures! Stop it! Get out! All of you, get out!. Stop taking pictures!"
The presidential suite was a cacophony of noise, filled with cries, gasps, and shouts.
Gloria Price hid in the bathroom, a cold smile playing on her lips.
She took a mask and a baseball cap out of her backpack, and with her head down, she slipped through the crowd towards the elevator.
As she passed room 1201, she suddenly thought of that scoundrel and couldn't help but stop. Driven by a strange impulse, she pressed her ear against the door to listen.
It was quiet inside.
That scoundrel must have been arrested by the police by now, right?
Just as Gloria was about to leave, the door suddenly opened, and she lost her balance, falling inside.
Gloria's forehead collided with a wall of muscle, causing her to hiss in pain.
Before she could react, the door slammed shut again with a loud bang, and she was shoved against the door, the force sending a sharp pain through her back.
Just as she was about to fight back, she caught a clear glimpse of the man's face and froze.
"You... why are you still in the hotel?!"
Trenton Wood stood half a yard away, looking down at her with a raised eyebrow.
"Where do you think I should be?"
"Shouldn't you be at the police station?!"
Trenton looked puzzled. "I haven't broken any laws or done anything wrong. Why would I be at the police station?"
Gloria Price blinked at him, momentarily speechless.
What was going on?
She was sure she had called the police!
Could it be that this scoundrel had bribed the cops?
She glanced around the room.
"And that woman? She's already gone?
Wow, old man, that was quick. Are you having issues? Maybe your kidneys are weak?"
Trenton Wood's brows furrowed briefly before he let out a cold chuckle.
"Trying to provoke me? Are you waiting for me to say, 'Let's test it on you'?"
Gloria Price immediately shook her head frantically. "I absolutely didn't mean that!"
Hasty footsteps echoed from outside the door. Gloria knew she couldn't stay long. With all the commotion Callie had caused, more people would surely come. She needed to escape before Callie discovered anything.
She looked at Trenton and said, "Mister, you're so good-looking. I don't want to hurt you. Just let me go."
Trenton's narrow eyes squinted, and he let out a cold laugh.
"You think you can hurt me?!"
A sly glint flashed in Gloria's eyes. "Sorry, Mister!"
As soon as she finished speaking, she swiftly raised her hand to strike at the back of Trenton's head. Trenton's brow tightened as he deftly dodged Gloria's attack.
But the silver needle still grazed his skin, causing a sharp pain in his neck.
Trenton touched the wound and looked at his fingers, seeing a faint trace of blood.
He gazed at Gloria with a meaningful look in his eyes.
There weren't many people in the world who could hurt him, let alone a woman!
Gloria Price, however, frowned. She had planned to knock him out and escape, but she didn't expect to fail. Her brows furrowed as she made another move...
Crash, bang, thud...
Two minutes later, Gloria Price was pinned firmly on the bed by Trenton Wood.
Trenton Wood grabbed her hands and held them above her head.
"Speak. Who sent you?!"
A woman with such skills wouldn't just be here to seduce him; there had to be more to it!
Gloria Price was now in a complete panic. Damn it, she had encountered a master!
Unable to fight back or escape, she quickly tried to think of a way out.
"I..." She burst into tears with a loud wail.
Trenton Wood was momentarily stunned, frowning as he warned, "Stop crying!"
But Gloria's tears flowed even more, "I'm not crying."
Trenton Wood's face darkened, "I said, stop crying!"
Gloria Price: "I... I'm really not crying." Tears continued to stream down her face.
Trenton Wood: "...Crying won't help. Tell me, who sent you?!"
Gloria Price, feeling utterly wronged, said, "No one sent me."
Trenton Wood grabbed her chin, his eyes piercing, "Dare to lie to me? Are you tired of living?!"
Gloria Price felt even more wronged. No one had sent her here!
"I'm not tired of living! I'm only 20 years old, and I want to live to be a hundred.
Trenton's gaze was sharp. "I'll give you one last chance. Tell me, who sent you here?!"
"I'm not lying. No one sent me here, I..."
The grip on her chin suddenly tightened, and Gloria was on the verge of tears from the pain. She quickly changed her tune, "Callie!"
"Callie?"
"Yes! Callie sent me here!"
Callie had indeed sent her here for a blind date, so saying Callie sent her wasn't exactly a lie, right?
Trenton frowned, "Who's Callie?"
Gloria replied, "My stepmom!"
Trenton pressed on, "Why did she send you here?"
Gloria stammered, "To... to seduce a man."
Trenton let out a cold snort, his expression one of seeing through everything.
"I knew you were here to seduce me. Tell me, what's her purpose in sending you to seduce me?!"
Gloria Price was momentarily stunned and quickly explained, "She didn't send me to seduce you. She sent me to seduce other men!"
"Then why didn't you go after someone else and came to seduce me instead?" Trenton Wood asked, his eyes narrowing.
Gloria felt a headache coming on. "Sir, I swear I wasn't trying to seduce you! If I was, let me gain sixty pounds and have my face break out in pimples that won't go away for a month and leave scars!"
Trenton glanced at Gloria's small hand.
Following his gaze, Gloria awkwardly bit her lip and quickly changed her 'OK' gesture to a swearing gesture. "If I was really trying to seduce you, let me never get married! And even if by some accident I do, let me marry a man with health issues so I'm lonely and miserable every day!"
Trenton was speechless. "..."
