Anna stroked his hair, whispering comforting words to him, but he wasn't engaged with her words. His guilt and her body occupied his mind.
Kelvin saw Truce walk out of a room without a shirt on. He scoffed internally when he saw the packs of muscles on his chest. Kelvin squeezed Anna a little and let go of her. He ruffled her hair and left her apartment. Anna kept her eyes on him, till he entered his flat.
She turned around and saw Mister Truce staring at her. This time, his eyes weren't cold but they were filled with hurt. He retreated into the bedroom without saying a word to her.
Anna followed, preparing to explain again. "Honey, he lost his mom yesterday, I was offering him comfort." She rested on the door to the bathroom. Truce said nothing as he wore his shirt and fixed his cufflinks.
Anna thought explaining more would make him very angry, so she kept quiet and watched him.
