There were some people still in the room with the clergy man, who was laughing and smiling, to her greatest surprise. She stood for a long time, not knowing what to do. It was a woman in red flay skirt and white long sleeves with printed bulrushes on it, that came and asked her if she wanted to see the pastor. Anna nodded. "Then go right in, young lady." She literarily pushed Anna into the room.
The room smelt of fresh flowers and Sunday lunch. She noticed stacks of fruits and lunch boxes beside the bed, but his eyes were trained on her. He was covered with a blue blanket, a bible laid open before him on the left side.
"Anna, " He said in a weak groggy voice. "It was about time I saw you. How have you been?"
