Yu Wen fell back on the chair . For the past three months he rarely had any rest . He was extremely exhausted .

" Come in "
Assistant Mo came in with a stern face . Yu Wen could tell from assistant's face that it was yet another bad news. However his endurance had improved a lot after being hit by one blow after another .
" President , the last one also wrote his resignation."
"Just let him leave . Anyway we can do nothing about it."
Yes, Yu Wen had been promoted to President . His father , receiving one bad news after another was unable to bear the stimulation and was admitted to the hospital . The hospital advice him to take rest and warned him against another stimulation as it may lead to stroke .
" Did the bank respond ?"
" Yes but their response was ambitious. I have a friend who works in the bank. He told me that someone had warned them against us. "
Yu Wen furrowed his eyebrows and pushed back his slickhair. He felt like his hairline has receded a lot in these few months.
Assistant Mo said in indignation.
" President, they are bullying us too much . Before, they came to us begging us to take loans but now we can't even meet the managing director"
Yu Lan shook his head and let out a sigh.
" It's human nature to seek benefit for themselves. When there is something in you to gain, they will scramble on you. But when you are distressed they be like a flock of sheeps being chased by an wolves."
" ....."
" Is there anything else to report?"
" Yes President. There is one more. The salaries of the employees need to be paid this week . "
" I will find a way. "
Yuxuan had trouble in concentrating . His muscle aches and his ears seems to be ringing . Yu Wen couldn't bear it anymore . He took the unfinished work and left for his home.
Yu Wen closed his eyes thinking of taking a quick nap. Because his body couldn't bear it any longer, he soon felt asleep inside the car.
When he woke up , he found himself alone inside the car . His driver was nowhere to be found. From the window view , he saw a large expanse of road on either side. He was honestly terrified .
He crawled over to the driver's seat and hastily locked all the doors . He checked all the drawers, floors and anywhere that a key could fit but couldn't find it. He was really anxious now. He put his hand inside the pocket and fumbled around. Luckily his phone was still with him.
" Hello! How can I help you ?"
" My name is Yu Lan. President of Yu Company. When I woke up, I was alone inside the car .My driver is nowhere to be found . I can't find my car keys either."
" Okay Sir, please stay calm . We are locating your position . Please stay inside the car ."
" okay, okay."
Yu Lan stiffly held his phone and waited.
" Mr Yu Lan, We have found your position. A team of policeman will be with you within ten minutes ."
Yu Lan kept checking the time. Ten minutes had never been so long to him.
He checked the time again. There is still seven minutes.
Suddenly someone smashed the window glass of the passenger seat. Yu Lan protected his head from the glass fragments.
The masked man opened the passenger seat and dragged him out. Yu Lan tried to break away from the man's gripped with all his might . But his efforts seem futile. The man had great strength. So he started negotiating.
" I am the president of Yu company . I will pay you twice the amount of what that person gave you. "
Getting no response from the man, Yu Lan increased the amount .
" Thrice.. Thrice.. "
" You can name any amount. I have lots of money . Just let me go. I won't pursue you. "
Yu Lan just wanted to delay for some minutes . The police must be arriving .
However no matter what he said, the man didn't give any response and continued tying his hand behind his back. Then the masked man took out a steel bar and smashed it down on his right leg .
A bonechilling scream sounded, echoing across the forest.
The man threw dropped the steel bar and escaped towards the forest .
When the policeman arrived the location , they heard groaning sound behind the car. When they hurriedly went to check , they saw man holding his bloodied right leg groaning in pain . They hurriedly took him to the hospital.
Yu zhen and his wife waited anxiously outside the operation room.
Meng Yao fell into the arms of her husband and started crying .
" Husband, why is one bad thing after another keep happening to our family ? "
Yuzhen didn't respond . He looked down at his wife hair and saw some white hairs standing glaringly among the black hairs . These past months hadn't been easy for anyone . Feeling pity for his wife, he patted her back soothingly .
" Who did our family provoke? ..sob sob.. How can they be so vicious! "
Hearing this, a figure appeared in Yuxuan head . He shook it off . How can it be him. He is his own son and it won't benefit Yuxuan in anyway if his family goes bankrupt. And the twins though had always been mean to Yuxuan, their crime doesn't deserve such great retaliation.
It must be related to the Company. Being the President of such a large company, he had offended so many people that he need to check the files before remembering them all.
The light turned green and a doctor walked out.
" Doctor, how is our son?"
" Let's talk inside my office."
Yuzhen heart tightened after hearing this .
" Please take a seat."
" I have both bad and good news."
The doctor gave them time to breathe.
" We were able to connect his broken bones. But there is 80% chance that he will be permanently lame on his right leg."
Though it wasn't the worst news, but it still stocked the parents greatly . Their son was such a proud man . He won't be able to face people with a lame leg.
Yu parents sat beside the bed guarding their son. They looked haggard and seemed to have aged a lot.
Meng Yao tightly held her son's hand and sob quitely .
Yuxuan received a call from his father who asked him to come to the hospital . Yuxuan rejected him as was unwilling to come out of his warm blanket. He also had no interest to go there as he was the reason behind his son's hospitalization. Yes, the masked man was Yuxuan himself . After he escaped into the forest, he went to the nearby river and after swimming for ten minutes following the waves, he came back to the city . After drinking a hot soup , he went inside his blanket and hadn't come out of it ever since.
