Sophia's eyes widened in fear as Victoria's gaze locked onto Max. She could see the malice in Victoria's eyes, and she knew that Max was in danger.
"Leave him alone," Sophia said, trying to keep her voice steady.
Victoria chuckled, a cold, mirthless sound. "Oh, I don't think so," she said. "You see, Max here has something that belongs to me. And I'm going to do whatever it takes to get it back."
Sophia's mind was racing as she tried to figure out what Victoria was talking about. What could Max possibly have that belonged to Victoria?
As Sophia hesitated, Victoria took a step closer to Max, her eyes glinting with malice.
"You see, Max," Victoria said, her voice dripping with venom. "You've been playing with fire. And now, you're going to have to pay the price."
Sophia's heart was racing as she realized that Victoria was planning something sinister. She knew that she had to act fast to protect Max.
But before Sophia could intervene, Victoria pulled out a small device from her pocket and pressed a button. Suddenly, the warehouse was filled with the sound of footsteps, and Sophia saw a group of rough-looking men emerging from the shadows.
"Ah, perfect timing," Victoria said, a cruel smile spreading across her face. "I think it's time we had a little chat, don't you, Max?"
As Sophia watched in horror, Victoria's men closed in on Max, their eyes cold and menacing. Sophia knew that she had to act fast to save Max, but she was trapped, with no way out...
And then, just as all hope seemed lost, Sophia heard a loud crash from the back of the warehouse. It was followed by the sound of footsteps, and Sophia saw a figure emerging from the shadows.
It was a man, tall and imposing, with a look of determination on his face. Sophia didn't recognize him, but she could tell that he was there to help.
"Looks like you're not the only one who's been playing with fire," the man said, his eyes locked onto Victoria.
Victoria's face twisted with rage as she realized that she was outnumbered. But Sophia could see the calculation in her eyes, and she knew that Victoria was far from defeated.
"We'll see about that," Victoria spat, her eyes flashing with anger.
And with that, the warehouse erupted into chaos, with Sophia, Max, and the mysterious stranger fighting for their lives against Victoria and her men...
